This is a referendum on Beane and his decision making. If he picks this guy by trading the resources talked about, it better workout and not in 3-4 years. This guy comes with known risk of a very high nature, he also has tremendous potential. Why would he risk everything to get maybe an incremental talent upgrade? Don't see it and I wouldn't do it.

Anybody know anything about today's Darnold meeting? Who went from the Bills would be most telling.

Is Russ getting fired and is a disgruntled employee now? I could see it then, otherwise not so much.

They could trade up to 2 and take him. I think there are scenarios where that is possible, thus the trip to LA. I'm not convinced the Giants aren't trading down and not taking a QB.

I've spent my life having scrawny doctors tell me that on the BMI they are better shape than me....in spite of having 7% bodyfat at one time. My brother in law is built like a truck and the Dr. just told him the BMI says he's obese. BMI is the biggest crock of you know what.

I want the same thing I have for months. Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold or Baker Mayfield in that order.

It has been long said that a LG is one of the easier positions to replace that is not really disputable. You can scheme and work to fit the situation. Not generally true at other spots.

What about Alex Boone as suggested by Sal C. in his tweet last night? I like the Brian Cushing idea as well! That's the thing, people are freaking out about the LG leaving. You can find guys to adequately replace these guys we've lost, and LG is one of the easier positions to replace . You can't say any of that about a great QB. Get the QB first, and THEN figure out the rest, there are answers out there.

Boy, I'll say. We may end up getting the best QB/Player in the draft at something less than number 1 because he isn't an institutional guy.
