  1. I agree he has potentially the most talent. It comes with more risk than the other 3, and that makes him number 4 for me. I don't think if I were the Browns I would do this. The fourth round talent is just ignorant.
  2. To me it seems like a mistake to take him at 1, there are other less risky guys. Yes, he might end up being a 9-10 talent, but he is also quite risky because so much is projection. Especially when it seems like the other guys might be 8s and 9s quickly. Of course it all has risk, but the Browns.....ehhhhh.
  3. I agree. It seems like a lot of excitement from teams because they don't have to consider taking the Risk with Allen.
  4. Wow! Trying to hit a Homerun. This feels like sending Mark Reynolds up against Corey Kluber though.
  5. That's what I think as well. Start preparing the fan base. Darnold is also in play possibly instead of Allen for us. Love it
  6. What is the reason for the Allen smokescreen by the Browns, assuming it is just that? I have yet to hear an adequate explanation. Maybe the meeting with Darnold is because we realized he might be there at 4 too.
  7. There were Rumors yesterday that the Giants are very impressed with Chubb at his visit. However, I have to wonder if that is smokescreen knowing the Broncos want Chubb at 5. They would like to trade down to 5 and still get Barkley. So this is the possible scenario: Browns....Darnold Giants.....Barkley Jets........Mayfield Bills........Rosen Broncos..Nelson......Chubb imo That would be pretty cool!
  8. An original idea! Unusual on here and I like it. Get the QB!!!
  9. I think it is the right thing if you can move down a few spots and add some picks. Especially given the needs.
  10. Dude wtf. I guess you must feel like you represent all the overreactors. More power to you and I hope you feel better. still smh If you want to wear it all be my guess, but panicking never works.
  11. Plan A is go up and get Josh Rosen Plan B is go and get Sam Darnold Plan C is go and get Baker Mayfield Plan D ,with the remaining picks , trade back acquire some more picks Plan E fill the hole at LB, OL, WR and other positions of which we will have plenty of picks after plans A,B,C Plan F watch the waiver wire and remember that you can't build a team in one year
  12. Nah. It's just Atkins friendly then. An offense without a bun(defense), can still be very enjoyable with the right enhancers.
  13. Let's just say building a team is like trying to build a great Hamburger. The QB is the meat, any great Hamburger starts and ends with the meat. You can add Bacon, Chedder, carmelized onions, tomatoes, relish and it enhances the burger. Hell, a great bun is important too, more like the defensive ends and cover guys in importance though. A good bun with all the enhancers is more like a BLT not a great Hamburger. Please go get the best meat!
  14. B.B.BBB but he didn't vote! He also didn't deny his dislike of Rosens' political views.
  15. I think some on this forum have gone crazy with this process stuff. They act like McBeane doesn't think talent matters. If player A is a 9 talent and a 3 character and player B is an 8 talent and 9 character, they are likely taking the player B. If Player A is a 3 talent and a 10 character and player B is a 10 talent and a 5 charatcer, they are taking player B. Lol! kind of puts an end to the chatter about him going to work in finance within 4 years.
  16. I can't imagine some of the overreactors are decision makers of any type. They run around making thoughtless, emotional responses like junior high girls trying to decide what to wear. SMH
  17. Thanks for the service, go take of yourself now. As a Bills fan, we needed to draft a replacement at some point because he's done this year. We get some cap space as well...
  18. Aside from good or bad fortune, which people still tend to ignore, and is of course uncontrollable. You should keep hedging the situation by planning to draft another QB high in the next year or two, not necessarily in the top 10. Perhaps in the top 2-3 rounds. And, stay after it with your strategy, the Bills have been awful at this. They seem to have always wanted to build the team first, and then get a QB. My biggest question about all of these guys like Allen, which is unknown, is how they handle adversity. Right now he is filled with confidence, everyone telling him how great he is. What happens when he finds out it doesn't work out as advertised, he isn't improving his accuracy and the footwork didn't help? Or he has a trait like "slow" eyes at the NFL level? Just sayin'.....lots of uncertainty. All you can do is follow a procedure of looking for traits that correlate, and ignore the ones that seem to be overrated. Let someone else take the risk who hasn't figure it out, and yes they're still some out there.
  19. So this week Jets interested in Mayfield, last week it was Allen, next week Rosen, week after Darnold. Browns were in on Allen, Darnold,Allen,Darnold Bills Rosen, Allen, Mayfield, Rosen , Allen,Mayfield What does that tell you all?
  20. I wish I could give this post mulitple laughs!
  21. Draft pick hoarders and risk aversion mantra: It is very safe to : Stay at home Never drive Never fly Never eat anything "bad" for you Never fight for anything It is unsafe to: Trade up for a franchise QB
