  1. I know it was only 2 yards on that carry but i just love Lynch......never quits!
  2. I didn't see one, so I thought I would start it! GO BILLS!
  3. Maybe someone could get Peters' address and we could get a shot of his house to see what he is up to! HA! Anyways......
  4. I can understand what you are saying. I know that if you are like most fans and just watch the games and try to pick your 53 man roster from the games only (not going to training camp or viewing other preactices), I can see how some cuts may be surprising. However, I think while as much as some of us love to break down the games and each position during the preseason, it is only 1 part of what the coaches look at. In fact, I believe the preseason games are used more as a confirmation as to what the coaches and front office already know about a player. Coaches and the front office watch these players day in and day out. They know if a guy can play or not and whether they have the heart and passion to make themselves better before these players ever step on the field for a preseason game. Sure, there may be a few surprising performances and some players may play better in a game situation (preseason) than they do in practice and that is what many fans see. While that is great, coaches and the front office are looking at much more than a couple of great performances in some preseason games. THEY WANT TO SEE THESE GUYS PERFORM DAY IN AND DAY OUT. So, without being able to see these players day in and day out, it is really tough to pull your 53 man rosters from the preseason games sine I believe they are used more as gagues to see where players are rather than to find out whether a player can play or not. The coaches and front office already know what guys can pla and which ones can't. I know, this may not be the clearest way to explain this, but basically it comes down to 1 thing. While the preseason games are important in evaluating talent, it is only a small piece of the puzzle. The day in and day out performances mean more to the coaching staff and front office. That is why most fans perceive some cuts as "surprises." They don't get to see everything.
  5. Man, I know there are a lot of people that HATE the preseason. However, I am not one of them. I LOVE the preseason! (THAT'S RIGHT I SAID I LOVE THE PRESEASON)!!!! As a lot of you know, I love to break down break down film and talent. I will tape each game and watch them several times, each time looking for different things. I really get into this. Yes, sometimes (many times) it is very sloppy football, but in the mistakes lies potential and progress. The preseason can make or break careers. Yeah, I know I may take it a bit more seriously than most, but I am really into it. The preseason means more than you think. And I love every minute of it! (That's right, I said I love every minute of it.....)!!!!!!!
  6. Brandon has stated on several occassions now that they would be willing to talk to Peters about a contract, but they insist that he come in to camp and start participating first. But yes, they have stated they are willing to negotiate a new contract, but they said he has to show up first. I don't think that is such a terrible request.
  7. I have no doubt that if he showed up and started practicing, he would get a new contract immediately. The Bills just want to check him out to make sure he is 100% healthy and ready to go before hey pay him $8 million or more. Not a terrible request in my opinion. EVERY OTHER GUY IS HERE.......EVEN THE ONES WITHOUT CONTRACTS FOR NEXT SEASON!!!! If he comes into camp and is ready to go, the Bills WILL PAY HIM! Show some loyalty to the team and the team will pay him!
  8. I was going to bring up the same point.....he fumbled on the first carry last year as well. Kinda strange, but then again....so is Willis. I still say he could be a great back if he actually cared. But, I don't think he ever will. I'd take Lynch every day of the week and wouldn't have to think about it........
  9. Got the confirmation as well! 1 MORE TO GO!!!!
  10. I'll be heading up there Saturday! Can't wait! IT'S FOOTBALL SEASON!!!!!! Just 17 days until GAME ACTION!!!!!
  11. Hey. I am always in another TBD league (R. Rich), but I would be happy to join another league as well if you need some players.
  12. WOW! OK! Well, that is interesting. Not sure what to think about that. I guess this is better for Lynch. IF Johnson was driving, instead of coming off as a hit and run driver, he will come off as a loyal friend who didn't want to get his friend in trouble. However, Lynch still could have been the driver. Don't get me wrong, it still looks BAD, but if Lynch wasn't driving, that does change some things.
  13. Unfortunately, I don't know how bad this really is for the Pats*. They seem to have the entire NFL, including Goodell, in their pockets! They do not want to do anything to the Pats*. Who knows, maybe the league is even in on all this!!!!!!!! I have no idea, but the NFL is doing everything they can to hide what is actually going on here. So, without them wanting to punish the Pats* at all, I am not sure how bad it will be. With this all happening, can anyone give me a realistic reason that Belicheat is still in the league???? I men, basically, he was doing all he could to FIX games!
  14. BINGO!!!! Of course teams may know the tendencies of their opponents. But the Pats* basically had their opponents playbook and gameplan on their sideline! A lot easier to counter what the defense is doing when you know EXACTLY what they are doing!!!!
  15. HERE IS THE FULL REPORT: http://assets.espn.go.com/media/pdf/080514...orStatement.pdf I think the PATS* might have officially replaced the Dolphins as the most hated team in the league by Bills Fans.....If they haven't already.
  16. HERE IS THE FULL REPORT: http://assets.espn.go.com/media/pdf/080514...orStatement.pdf Anyway, the highlight for me was that Walsh told him that a certain offensive player on the Pats* told him that because of the tapes, they were able to determine up to 75% of the defensive plays being called!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY CRAP! I know there is a lot of discussion out there trying to figure out how much of an advantage the tapes gave them, but this should put that discussion to rest. I'm sorry, but if you know 75% of the defensive plays being called against you, THAT IS ABOUT AS HUGE AN ADVANTAGE OF PAYING THE REFS TO HELP YOU (who knows........with the Pats* getting the calls they have over the years, they probably have that going too!)!!! This is PI**ING ME OFF MORE AND MORE EVERY DAY!!!!!
  17. You know what really pi**es me off about all of this? The NFL punished the Pats* he way they did because they thought this was just occurring during the 2006-2007 season. So, they punished them for that 1 season because they thought, at the time they released the punishment, that it was a 1 season thing. Since the, it has come out that the Pats* have been doing this since 2000!!! So, that is AT LEAST 7-8 full seasons having a competitive advantage. I say, the punishment may have fit the crime for 1 season ($750,000 in total fines and taking away their first round pick). Since they have now discovered that this has been happening for 7-8 seasons and not just 1, I think the league should fine them $750,000 take away a competitive advantage (1st round pick) each of the next 7 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean, they had a competitive advantage over EVERYONE in the league. Now, it is only fair that the rest of the NFL have a competitive advantage over them for the same amount of time! So, take away the Pats* 1st round (maybe even a 2nd or 3rd as well) for each of the next 7 seasons!!!!!!! What goes around comes around. And they got off with a slap on the wrist. They need to be punished for every season that they did this. I thick taking away their top draft picks every year for the next 7 should be the minimum punishment.
  18. Omon compares himself to Priest Holmes..... I can see where that comes from. Heruns with a VERY SIMILAR style. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jn9_Y1KANpg
  19. Here is another highlight video for Omon: Wmight be saying "OH MAN" to OMON!!!!
  20. I don't mean to quote my own post, but if you watch the video, watch the last minute or so around the endzone.... When is the last time we had a RB that could jump over everyone like that? DON DAVIS???
