  1. Kind of like releasing Gillislee rather than paying for him like the fans wanted? Or the certainty that Chris Hogan would become a star in NE when he actually caught less passes for less yards than his average in Buffalo? Or trading away our star MLB (Kiko) for an over-the-hill RB? [Nothing Shady: Eagles own Bills in LeSean McCoy-Kiko Alonso trade: "In reality, they just owned Buffalo in this proposed deal"- the Sporting News.com] Or another highly drafted LB from LSU (Sheppard) to the Colts for a criminally underperforming DE/LB hybrid from TCU?!? (quote: "one of former general manager Bill Polian's worst picks in Indianapolis...") I love the recency bias - or more correctly because it isn't even true recently - malaise bias that Bills fans have that we make worse trades than other teams.
  2. It was originally - about 10 years ago - where I started converting my recorded Bills games to very low quality online videos so my brothers (and sisters) in arms down range could watch the latest games. Since then it's expanded to other junk, like tech and some retro gaming stuff I'm interested in, but primarily still a repo of past games. As I'm deployed again (Afghanistan, again) it's likely this will be another missed year of updates, unfortunately. I'm also not sure which of the videos work, as my hosting platforms keep exceeding my financial ability to use them, so I have to frequently find another technique/location to save the files. As I'm in a limited bandwidth area, I don't have the ability to do that right now. edit: Oh you literally meant what is my website? https://www.timekills.org but the relevant part is probably https://www.timekills.org/bills-video/
  3. I concur with your points on the challenge of offering something for free, then charging for it. It's a great technique when the product is desirable enough (*cough* drugs...first one's free! *cough*). I'd suggest the YouTube practice of advertising for those that don't want to pay - even if it's over the top annoying - with an option to subscribe and remove the advertising. Those that would have subscribed will do so anyway, and at worst they'll get a modicum of advertising (although ads on the Internet are woefully low income until you get into the tens of millions of unique subscribers. Trust me - I've made about $9.00 in six years of placing ads on my site that replays Bills games just to try and recoup some server cost. That doesn't pay for half of one month over the six years. Just to clarify - I don't believe you're "a cheap skate" if you choose not to subscribe. But I don't agree with the conception that you should just get the stuff for free. That was my point.
  4. I'm very curious what y'all do for pay? How about if I show up to your place of work and expect your services/goods without any money? What if I "promise" to watch an advertisement? Will you provide me the service or goods for free then? Why you believe it makes sense for you to get the product these people and sites produce for free, but you wouldn't do the same is beyond me. If people stopped buying your products or goods - how long would you keep going? I'm willing to bet you're not all volunteers. I completely understand not wanting to pay because you you don't feel the product is worth the cost, but the "I ain't paying for coverage, period" leads to "Why isn't there any coverage?"
  5. I got it using my daughter's .edu email address last year. That (the email address) is the proof required.
  6. The addressees on the tweet (teammates of Allen's) themselves weren't white...
  7. Well, my kids didn't/don't watch either. Neither do I. However, you do recognize that the Modern Family clip is a parody that is showing the character's (unintentional) insensitivity. I remember some young girls pointing out my daughter being white when at a pre-pre school age. They weren't commenting to be racist, just making a factual statement. ALSO however, my kids and I are intelligent and aware enough not to use potentially racist terminology even in jest or without racist intent.
  8. My son, when playing basketball on a team where he was the only white player, had the nickname "flashlight" and "white lightning." Racist? I mean, it definitely was because he was a different skin color than his team mates. Offensive? Not to him or his friends on the team. Again - not justifying that or Allen's comments. Just that everything needs to be taken in context. Interesting that the people he sent the tweets to were of multiple races. Were they offended?
  9. The episode that Josh Allen was quoting. In no way to I imply this justifies or makes it acceptable. Simply putting it out there. "@FelipeeeeMelo_: Bout to show up these Niggas at pong. Gonna do for @j_prodigy_5 @AFlyer5 and @J_Sal_Forever_5.":) Why are you so white ? — If it ain't white, it ain't right! http://t.co/wsLQKZQWG5
  10. Bills game video (condensed/eachgame in 30 minutes): https://www.timekills.org/bills-video/

  11. The Bills got their white Cam Newton and black Luke Kuechly. #CarolinaNorth
  12. Hmm. I guess since the Jets have been so successful in picking QBs that we should definitely take their criticism as a concern. (/s) Jets fans thinking we did the wrong thing makes me suddenly much more comfortable Allen was the right pick after all.
  13. I think the news here is someone actually wants to buy tickets to Blue Jays games.
  14. I sincerely - sincerely - doubt that a GM who has never traded back in his prior history, including being part of the Giants that grabbed their testicles and rode out the Eli/Rivers trade, would drop to #4 from 2 for a second when they'd know how desperate the Bills are. What might influence them to do this is the pressure to take a QB when they don't want to mess with Manning again. If Darnold is available and they don't take him, and he winds up great...bad things man, bad things. Not so good if they trade the spot away and he winds up great either, but better than straight passing on him. However, I still think it's going to take at least the second and something else, possibly from next year. Also, why wouldn't the Bills, and any other QB needy team, travel to evaluate one of the top QBs available. Whether they want him, as a smoke screen, or even just to glean a little more insight into strengths and weaknesses in case they have to play against him (Browns/Jets), they should evaluate as part of normal business. If they didn't, I'd question their professionalism.
  15. I want to hear more about the incideous, menical stuff. Each day on here I learn more amazing facts, gain valuable insight into the field of psychology and mind reading, and discover new words I didn't even know existed. And to think this is the offseason!
  16. "Reporter" is using that term verrrry loosely. I'm not sure which is more unbelievable. Giving it to a "real sports reporter" (also an oxymoron) or giving it to a lesser known draft site. Giving it to the lesser known site makes it easier to ensure your name doesn't come out as there are less people to control and the site has more reason to keep it quiet for future gain. However both ways it's done for misinformation rather than real information. I tend to agree with this: Which to me means I don't buy the QBs ahead of everyone else, but maybe the order the QBs are ranked between themselves is valid. Which would lend credence to the Rosen being held in higher regard than most fans have him.
  17. So close. His cousin is just Can... Can O'Korn
  18. I suppose you could just as easily say he'd like the Bills organization to cut *him* a deal as the backup QB who engineered the greatest comeback in NFL history getting them to another Super Bowl.
  19. The video was interesting. Mentions the Bills working with the Chiefs in the draft day trade so the Chiefs could get Mahomes, the subsequent trade of Reggie Ragland and the history between McDermott and Reid all pointing to a long plan to get Smith.
  20. Dude, what is up with the buzzkill attitude? Did you cry? "No, that's dumb" Taylor got us to playoffs "Who cares, he's gone." It's New Year's Eve/Day, the Bills are in the playoffs. You're allowed to enjoy it tonight. Or in other words,
