  1. It's just click-bait. We all know what was going on last year. It doesn't matter if Terry or Doug made the call. It was a business decision. One that ultimately paid off with a renegotiated contract. Looks like they made the right call to me - based on business, not Tyrod's qualifications as a starting QB.
  2. Super Bowl 17 is my first NFL memory. Soon after, I realized that my grandfather - life long resident of East Aurora - was a Bills fan. He would tell me all sorts of stories about the early years. Of course, with the success they enjoyed in the following seasons, I was hooked in a hurry. I got my dad to root for them and now my sons all root for them too. We cannot wait to break free of the Patriot stranglehold. Even my wife is an avid fan. It'll be a day to celebrate in our house for sure!
  3. I've been watching for almost 30 years. I can hardly imagine a matchup of division rivals which has been so lopsided. I wasn't around to go 0 for the 70''s vs. the Dolphins. Perhaps the Falcons vs. '9ers back in the 80's and 90's? This is just historically terrible. Hopefully we are pleasantly surprised on Sunday.
  4. Jeff Gillooly did that to Theisman...I always thought it was LT. Yep - The Giants formula from the SB's is the lasting formula. Get pressure with 4, cover with 7. That fits McD's MO., too The question is about the pressure. Can we produce pressure with 4?
  5. He probably has Pro Bowl incentive money in his contract. I'd ask for votes and stuff the ballot box myself in that case!
  6. Absolutely not. They want McDoo gone badly. I think he is being "professional" so that he can land another job sooner rather than later. I'd be shocked if he was associated with the Giants next year.
  7. That'll be easy to deal with. Personal foul on the player for interrupting the celebrants' fun.
  8. This is good statistical analysis. Very interesting trends from McD and Rico. I think this shows that they are too predictable with the lead, especially considering how careful TT is with the ball when he does throw. I would want the 15.8% to be up at least 10%. You have to keep the defense honest.
  9. From the score, it looked more like the Chefs fell to their level... Blech - 12-9 OT winner! McDoo hinted at it a couple weeks ago in a presser - something about getting reps for young guys...analyzing ability on the roster, etc. I'm surprised that they are pulling him from the starting gig, but not surprised they are giving reps to Geno. I think they want to know if they have a backup or if they need to shop for two QBs.
  10. I think the Giants are a good example of that this year...would you agree?
  11. I don't like the Santa Costume, but I love the all white look. The blue on blue looks good too.
  12. I think the bigger issue is when they use hand motion, which is relayed to the center by the guard. It seems that the timing of that is very consistent. Much easier for the DL to take off in rhythm.
  13. There plans changed dramatically when KB became available. I think between KB and Zay, you have two solid starters. You can't allocate much more money, especially if your offense is "balanced" or "run-oriented."
  14. That's what I was thinking. We'd be looking at double-a-gap blitzes for two years and then restarting with the cupboard bare once again.
  15. I would think that McD would be sorely tempted to pick a stud Mike for his d. If another Keuchly was sitting there, I think we'd be tempted. That position means so much to this D.
  16. What's the track record on "3rd" QB's? I think that'd be an interesting bit of research.
  17. I think it may also allow coverage LB's and the safeties to worry less about his assignments. That seems more likely than his tackling, which is sure, but shouldn't matter that much for runs up the gut. I doubt he would have been in the middle of the field for all those (25) run plays against NO.
  18. That landed several weeks ago. He's a dead man walking...the Mara's are just a little eccentric and so they didn't send him packing. I think McAdoo was proving himself to be a good company man by not causing trouble. He'll get another shot eventually, but the NY situation has gotten bad in a hurry. I wonder if we'd be interested in him as OC or QB coach?
  19. I'm pretty sure that Adams was just asking if he could be Cam's wingman. Cam must have quoted Mr. Incredible himself: "I work alone, Buddy!"
