I would've rather they played to the situation. Use it to evaluate the interior of your line, the ability of the RB to protect the ball, etc etc
I'd argue that you want to see how well players do playing situational football. In that situation you run the ball, stay in bounds, run the clock down and call TO. They did nothing even remotely close to that.
Rousseau will surprise a lot of OTs with how fast he can initiate contact with his freakishly long arms. They'll adjust, he'll need to add some variety to his rushes.
