Milano has a Pec Injury Timeline "we'll see" per Sean
pi2000 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was banging the drum for Jihaad Campbell at draft time.... welp. -
Did anybody else notice, on the winning kick, Walker was lined up at RT (or whatever that position is called on ST)... ball was snapped, he stood up and just waived at Hamilton who ran right past him and almost blocked the kick. What was he even doing out there? Why not an actual offensive lineman or TE? That almost ended up in disaster.

The starters really didn't play at all in pre-season and, as a result, I'm expecting them to get physically dominated in the first half by Baltimore. Josh will be rusty for a few quarters as well, and that's fine.. just come out of that game healthy and go on a run against inferior opponents leading up to the Chiefs game in Nov.

I don't understand the Bass "injury". "Pelvic soreness" for a 4 plus weeks? I've never heard of that injury, let a alone for a kicker. Someone help me understand what "pelvic soreness" actually is and what needs to heal before he can kick a ball again. -

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

Even if he's OK, not a good sign for his long term durability... which was a concern for me at the draft. -
Mt. Rushmore: Levy, Knox, McDermott, Saban Mt. Rushless: Stephenson, Williams, Jauron, Mularkey

They added a gimpy Bosa, 2 suspended players, and a bunch of rookies. I'm expecting the defense to perform similar to last season, maybe even take a step back against the pass with the loss of Douglas and addition of White/Hairston. Run defense and 3rd down will continue to be an issue until these rookies mature.

Maxwell Hairston named in civil lawsuit for sexual assault
pi2000 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I, for one, never liked the pick. Slight build, not physical... and (guilty or not) character concerns stemming from the SA allegations. If this SA issue blows over, can he stay healthy? Color me concerned. Would've preferred a LB, Schwesinger or Campbell, or if CB was a must then perhaps Will Johnson or Amos in the 2nd... but imo LB was as much a need as CB and there were a few good ones on the board at 30. If Milano goes down again and TB misses some time (as he always does) could be tough sledding again for the run defense. -
still skinny

When did standing for the entire game become a thing? -

doesn't everybody stand now anyways? -
My surprise is Hairston struggles in camp and doesn't dress until week 6. He plays 12 snaps before breaking his right collarbone in a collision with a referee. TJ Sanders disappoints, shows up overweight, pulling up lame with a hammy before the first pre-season game, missing significant time.... essentially taking a red-shirt season. Landon Jackson starts over an injured Bosa who violently ruptures both achilles slipping on a rubber mat on his way to the practice field. Ed Oliver and Greg Rousseau make 1st team all-pro. This draft has put them on notice, and they respond with a vengeance.

unprofessional by Beane it's a radio show and you're the GM of one of the most successful franchises in football he doesn't need to defend himself to those clowns

Don't like the pick. With the extra picks why not move up a bit for a DT? There were guys there. Sure you need a willing dance partner, but this was a draft conducive for dealing. Whatever. Would've preferred Jihaad Campbell.... versatile highly productive player. In Beane I Trust.
