  1. Didn't they take him off kick returns late in the season? I would love to be wrong about him, but I saw nothing from him last season, not one thing to make me feel good about his future.
  2. Which coaching staff are you referring to and can you give any examples of this trust? I thought he was one of the least impressive players I've seen in some time. Maybe he'll show something this season, but I have no expectations.
  3. I suppose if every game played this year is exactly like games played last year, yeah, he has a point. But it's really a ridiculous comment by a seasoned football writer. What if Hill gets to TD's in the first qtr, the whole game is changed. It's a huge signing , remember, Miami won 7 in a row last season and added quite a bit this offseason. Chase Edmunds is a very good RB. Tua played well more often than not last year, they will be tough. Good thing we beefed up our defense.
  4. good question. Do you think McD would have gone for 2 if we got the ball back and scored in OT? Probably. Would certainly make for exciting finishes, as if we need anything more exciting than last years game.
  5. Take the ball, in the KC game with the new rule, If Allen leads us to a TD to tie, KC gets the ball next in sudden death. I'd assume both teams will score.
  6. or it might be real bad.
  7. if a player chose Buffalo because of 'unfinished business' and he always wanted to stay in Buffalo, most people here would build a statue in his honor, sounds like McKissic had similar feelings about Washington.
  8. almost positive it was Littman.
  9. I think it was pretty well known back then that Littman was very influential with Wilson on how to spend, it rarely worked out well.
  10. I'm doing fine, thank you. Hardly afraid of them on a daily basis, not sure where you pulled that one from, but if you don't think the 9-8 Dolphins from last season are greatly improved , you are fooling yourself.
  11. well since that happened in the past, it's exactly what will happen in coming years, right?
  12. He's not a bad QB, I hope the Bills don't look past the dolphins like so many fans do. They have a solid roster.
  13. IF the Bills sign their picks of rounds 1-4, that's almost $5.6 million in rookie salaries they need to have space for. Not sure how people come up with $2-3 million. Right now, player #51 has a $706k cap hit, add #1 pick of $2.6 million, then #50 becomes #51, his cap hit is $825K, which means for the #1 pick, we need about $2.5 alone. I think I'm understanding this right, correct me if i'm wrong.
  14. Yes, you both are missing something. You are not counting the 51st player after we draft someone, you're removing the cost of the 51st player from the salary, but you don't lose the 51st salary, you just replace that player with a different one. Our top 4 picks will be for full cap amount. Read the Spotrac page regarding draft picks.
  15. They need about $6 million as it stands now. That's not necessarily a bad thing. If they player plays out his contract, it's not big deal. Pushing Milano's cap hit over his contract won't hurt us. Same with Diggs when they do his.
  16. Huh? That's quite an assumption.
  17. what's the point of that? Costs the team more cash up front and might prevent necessary restructuring the following year. Anyway, we just extended Morse, so i assume that saved us some cap money this season.
  18. Won't the rollover money just wash the cap hit that was moved down the road?
  19. Beane knows how much money he can clear, when he makes an offer, he knows he can back it up.
  20. Then he goes to the highest bidder. If we want him, we need to trade for him.
  21. They won't do a restructure until they actually need to the money. If they don't sign anyone, wouldn't be wise to restructure.
  22. Who's the alternative? Until you find someone better, you still have a chance to make the playoffs. Vikings have a dynamic offense, but the team couldn't close out so many games last season. They are banking on the new coach to fix that. Not a horrible risk.
  23. I'm sure someone posted this already, but not going to read through 13 pages. The Chargers were $40 million under the cap before the trade, the Bills were about $2 million with more holes to fill. This wasn't going to be a cheap restructure either, $60 million over 3 years was going to be huge, do we move much of that money to the next 2 seasons when Josh's cap number triples? Has to be better value out there.
