  1. That’s when my sister was there. She’s a couple years younger than London Fletcher. I think she was the same age as Josh McDaniels. The list is ridiculous though: Don Shula, Brian Polian, Josh McDaniels, Chris Polian, Tom Telesco, Nick Caserio, David Caldwell and Greg Roman. It really is incredible for a school that size: https://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Journal/Issues/2017/08/21/In-Depth/John-Carroll-University.aspx
  2. When the tornado touched down the other day it was 2 blocks from my house!! The dog and I spent about 30 minutes in the bathroom on the floor when we heard where it was. At any rate, I have the generator ready and we will see what happens. My house is pretty elevated so I highly doubt I will take on any water. It’s going to be more about the flooding and people being stuck. Just saw one report that said we may see 25 inches of rain in some spots!! That was from the head of the National Weather Service. That would be insane. It looks like it’s going to be slow moving like Isaac was. It is just going to sit over us and dump rain for the next few days. Just hoping that it all works out.
  3. Ha ha, it’s a total Kevin Bacon thing. I have never met Nick but Mikey is a nice dude. He’s really good to all of them.
  4. They are just going to wait out Caserio aren’t they? At any rate, my sister’s best friend is married to his brother. His brother was telling me last time that I was there that this is it for Nick in New England. He’s leaving after this year.
  5. I think I’m with you on that. Next year should be a really strong receiving class but I think Jeudy is different. He has such a high floor (and obviously a high ceiling). If I’m trading up I need a guy that will DEFINITELY be at least good. Jeudy is that. He has no chance of busting IMO. He has ELITE speed, run after the catch and route running abilities. He’s one of (if not the) best WR prospects that I can remember. He’s not quite in the Randy Moss category as a prospect for me but he is there with guys like Julio, Sammy and AJ Green. Those guys were the top guys that I can think of. Jeudy reminds me so much of OBJ as a player.
  6. This x 1,0000!!! If I were an owner I’d immediately concede on it. It feels cheap and threatening. If I were a GM and couldn’t concede on this I’d be watching out because CLEARLY ownership doesn’t trust me.
  7. The draft order is based on reverse Super Bowl odds. I certainly can’t think of a more fair way to do it in July. With that being said, yes please on Jerry Jeudy. He’s a WAY better prospect than Amari Cooper was IMO.
  8. I forgot about Lombardi and Starr.
  9. I didn’t see it but I’d like to take a shot (in no particular order at the 10). Brady / BB Montana / Walsh Elway / Shanahan Bradshaw / Knoll Marino / Shula Kelly / Levy Brees / Payton Coryell / Fouts Favre / Holmgren Manning / Dungy How did I do?
  10. I didn’t miss it just don’t see it that way. Unless players are jeopardizing their careers with criminal behavior I don’t care what they are doing off the field. If Mitch Morse wants to throw the shot-put, so be it. I will cheer for him. I don’t look at training to be an Olympian as interfering. If he was gaining 65 lbs for a movie role I’d be concerned.
  11. Honestly, I don’t feel like it’s our place to have a say anyways. The team can either grant his wish or he can quit football. My guess is that he’s allowed to try but he won’t qualify (sadly). It’s hard to do that part-time and still be one of the best in America. We have too many great athletes trying to earn those spots.
  12. I said, “everyone wouldn’t” but there would be A LOT of people cheering in that stadium if Brady was laying on the turf.
  13. We would cheer and anyone that says differently is lying. Everyone wouldn’t cheer but there is a high enough BAC in that stadium to head that route.
  14. He is a world class athlete and world class guy. I wish him nothing but the best in his quest.
  15. I am not a Warriors fan at all. I kind of hate them. With that being said, their guts cannot be questioned. That performance last night with their backs against the wall was special.
  16. April is the best IMO. NHL, NBA playoffs, Final Four, Masters, NFL Draft and the start of the baseball season. June is 2nd. October is 3rd as it is the only month when all 4 major sports are overlapping.
  17. I don’t think it hurts them but I get your point. Asked a different way, “if the NFL had a team in Toronto how much support would the Bills lose?” It is definitely a fair amount but we just need to support our team regardless. The Leafs and Sabres co-exist.

  19. Ha ha, I couldn’t figure it out. I was like, “what’s confusing?” I guess, we are all on the same page. It feels reasonable to believe that the Bills will be interested. My guess is that he takes the year off though. They probably owe him a bunch of money and he can “rebuild” his reputation. It’s really weird though.
  20. @JerseyBills I’m not sure what’s confusing? The Bills hired him to be 2nd in command not long ago. He left after getting a GM job. His team went 11-5 and he got fired. I don’t think that it is unreasonable to think that the Bills may be interested in bringing him back for the upcoming season.
  21. Do you think that we bring him back?
  22. That’s not what that link says. It says 8% of DBs drafted in the 6th round or later become regular starters. The number that make the team as rookies is astronomically higher. Try this one, 70.2% of all 6th round rookies make the active roster in year 1. That number is WAY higher for a team with 1 playoff appearance in 18 seasons: https://www.milehighreport.com/platform/amp/2014/5/13/5713996/how-long-does-the-average-draft-pick-stick-around And yes, I know that post is from 2014 but with the advancement of technology & analytics bust rates continue to decline, not increase.
