I might be in the minority but I have no emotional thoughts about Diggs coming back, good or bad. I didn’t have emotions when he left. If they bring him back on a team-friendly deal, fine. If they don’t, fine. He was a great player. He, likely, isn’t a great player anymore. I don’t care about social media or everybody eats or anything like that. If he can help the team at the right number, I’m in. If not, the Bills should pass. Decisions should be made ONLY through the lens of, “what needs to be done to win a Super Bowl?” Nothing else matters

I’ve been thinking that Benford becomes a prime franchise tag candidate. This makes it even more likely IMO. If he gets through this year, at the level he played at this year, he gets tagged next year if a deal can’t be worked out. He may even get it twice.

In a nutshell, this has to be the biggest gripe with Beane. With the exception of Josh, he hasn’t found a ton of elite talent. He’s found some good, to very good players, but only 1 star. Yes, I know that they’ve drafted late but that’s not an excuse. Other teams have too and found Pro Bowl and All-Pro level players.

In the last 2 drafts, the Bills used the 25th pick and 33rd pick on Kincaid and Coleman. They combined for 73 receptions, on 132 targets for 1.004 yards and 6 TDs. That’s abysmal. They EACH should be doing that!! For context, rookie Brian Thomas Jr. caught 83 of 133 targets for 1,282 yards and 10 TDs.

What stadium issues are you referring to? If you’re referring to that article from a few weeks ago about how many have been sold, that’s not really telling the story. The Bills have only offered PSLs to a small percentage of the people still. Now if you’re saying, the overruns are causing problems, sure. If you’re saying, they need to speed up the process, I agree. If you think that the Bills are struggling to sell PSLs, we have no credible information.

He’s been high on my list for this offseason. Campebell is a versatile, DL, still playing at a pretty high level, and is a Walter Payton Man of the Year Winner. He’d be great for a year.

Much better looking number
-
That’s what Dane is here for. He’s taking Elam’s spot. You have Benford, Dane, Ingram, Taron, Codrington, Cam Lewis and Couch + Hardy on the PS. They don’t need more bodies. They need a starter. That’ll come in the 1st 2 rounds.

It’s less about coaching and more about talent. The Bills have, and have had, one of the worst receiving groups in the league. They are elevated by Josh, not held back by Brady. If they had talent there, it would look much better.

… and @Bill from NYC will lose his mind
-
Why would you expect him to not keep adding? This move was about raising the floor, not the ceiling. That will come in the draft. The Bills are better there today than they were yesterday.
-
I have no issue with this at all. He’s a quality depth corner. Do I want him as CB2? No. Are they better at the position today than they were yesterday? Yes.
-
Whether you’d rather get younger or more explosive isn’t the point I was responding to. I agree with that. Kupp isn’t a perfect fit. I was responding to the thought, that if he were here, he’d play behind Coleman and Palmer. He wouldn’t. He’s better than both of them today.
-
While I don’t think that he comes here, the thought that he would play behind Coleman/Palmer is ridiculous. Kupp would be the Bills number 1 WR immediately. He’s not a perfect fit but, if you extrapolate out his numbers over 17 games from last year, it’s 95 catches on 142 targets, 1,006 yards, 9 TDs. He’s not the player that he was a few years ago, but as good or better than anyone on the roster currently. The problem is he’s primarily a slot. He could play outside though. The price tag likely isn’t worth it unless he accepts a short term “prove it” deal like Bosa.
-
Chris Johnson was even faster. Why wasn’t he a field stretcher? There’s nuance to it. Can he make a few plays down the field? Probably. Keon is better down the field than Samuel and is much slower. It isn’t just speed. Palmer is the guy to do that now. He has been really good down the field.
-
Chris Johnson ran a 4.2. He was a RB. It’s a different skill set. Samuel is a chess piece. He’s Deebo-like. He isn’t as physical and is faster. Samuel isn’t going to be the field stretcher.
-
He runs fast but he isn’t a speed guy. He’s a converted RB. Samuel is good with the ball in his hands.

S was bad last year. It was a problem. We are running it back at this point. They should have upgraded here and still can but early signs are 🤢. They are banking on Bishop becoming a good player. He was a bad player last year. Rapp is okay but just okay. The secondary is still bad.

He’s coming off of a great year. Just saying, he could fit on a short term deal

Joey Bosa signs with Buffalo. 1 year, $12.6 million
Kirby Jackson replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s hard not to like this deal. Obviously he’s had injury issues. The Bills didn’t need more guys, they needed some dudes. A healthy Bosa is a dude. It’s a 1 year deal and a big swing. You need to have some luck to win a title. If he stays healthy that would constitute, some luck.- 798 replies

Well then 🤷🏻♂️ -
That’s part of the reason that I think the draft is more likely. You hope to find a guy that can play on a rookie deal. There are DTs throughout this draft. I think that they draft 2 although I’m not sure that 1 will be in the first. There’s too much depth there. I think it’s possible that they don’t take one until day 3 and the board will lose its mind. They need an edge which is also expensive.
