  1. I wonder if it is that they were wrong, or both were put in a spot where they would fail. How much better would Darnold be here with the coaching staff in Buffalo vs the tire fire in NJ? I think that their surrounding team is a lot of the reason why there is success vs bust in the league. Everyone who scouts players has the same information, and when there is unanimous value for a player they are called a bust when they don't meet that expectation; but there is a reason the team around them was picking so high in the draft in the first place. While a player can control their own destiny in a way, a major part of their development and growth is what they are surrounded by too. Same can go for a player who is drafted way too high (ex Whitner) It's not his fault he was chosen a round to early and played a non-premium position in the league. If he had the same career he had but was a late 1st round/ early 2nd round pick like many thought he would be pre-draft, we would have had a totally different perspective of them. Josh Allen was last on my list of QBs I wanted them to draft, and boy am I glad I was wrong!
  2. As a huge nerd, this is my two worlds colliding, and I am here for it and loving every second of it. How cool is it to have a legit Superstar on the roster now?! (Allen is one too, but doesn't have the commercials yet!)
  3. An outdoor stadium, having an event in April in WNY.... I doubt that will ever happen.
  4. Thats what it is, they dont want someone going out and buying a seat for cheap that was already sold. They want you to go and buy a seat that hasnt been sold yet. I always buy from a site (Ticketmaster, vivid seats, seat geek) and I never had a problem when getting into the game or concert. I hope there arent too many issues with that tomorrow, would be a shame to get to the game tailgate, and then not be able to get in.
  5. Give me that monster DT from GA that is said to be a late round 1 pick... Dude is a monster who takes on doubles and triples every play run or pass. He isnt a Aaron Donald push the pocket DT, but he is a wall that they cant move backwards. That would allow LBs to fly around and not have to dance by OL every play https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/jordan-davis/omihIICY6n
  6. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3880670/?ref_=tt_cl_t_8 What's wild is that he was also a nationally ranked wrestler too!
  7. I just heard they have all sorts of injuries across the O-line and the two of their top 3 CBs didnt practice today either.. so I'm saying either Sanders or Diggs have a day along with the entire D-Line.
  8. I just hope that both the OC and DC stay. I strongly believe that continuity is one of the major reasons this team has done so well. Coaches and players not having to learn or coach new systems every two years has to be a huge advantage. Fraizer has been a HC before and didnt have that much success, maybe he likes being a DC on one of the best teams in the league, only has to focus on his side of the ball; and with the talent they have and a D focused HC the pipeline wont dry on talent he gets to work with. Same wish for Daboll, he is from the area, has Josh Allen as his QB, young talent all over the Offense. He has been around the league and knows what it looks like to start over a franchise (Miami, Cleveland) and knows how much of a crap shoot it is to get that franchise QB. Maybe he just stays like Tom Moore did when he had Manning in Indy for years. Keep the band together and just make them some of the highest paid coordinators in the league. Fingers crossed
  9. Or they may be giving him a chance to sign onto another teams active roster before the season starts. They did that with a few Vets that had good tape out there if I recall correctly. Long term helps get vets in the door because they know the team will help them even it if its not with them.
  10. I think it is more looking at the previous season when there were fans in the stands and not just the one game last year. I have heard they call it "Sugar Rush Josh" when he gets too excited and tries to force a play. IMO that seemed to disappear last year, but it is a lot easier to be calm when you don't have 80k Bills fans screaming and getting you juiced up before you go out there. I am sure with the increased confidence that he has that it will not be an issue, but hopefully the entire team is more focused than ever and they can keep playing great ball.
  11. I bet there are a lot of "wild" picks this year. With players dropping and some coming out of nowhere. Medical concerns and other issues that fans usually find out about at the combine or something will have a bigger impact than usual I bet.
  12. Those Trench helmets look like something out of a Sci-Fi movie in the future where they play a sport like murder ball..... Thinking a logo will look goofy as hell on there too haha
  13. I think they are good excuses, I also think that this year is going to be huge for Edmunds to make/break it. I suspect he will get the 5th year option, but just to get another year to see if he grows more before committing to him long term.
  14. Clowney is still out there..... make it happen Beane (Just putting it here so nobody else has to)
  15. I have had them start popping up, but its one click and you are to the page. Not the end of the world.
  16. I would be shocked if they traded a qb to a team in their own division; but then again if you know he isnt good, is expensive, and you can hamstring their cap....
  17. Don't care what number they are, but if a player does his job better because he has the number that he wants, let him have it.
  18. Nothing beats the saturday morning of the old draft format. Used to have everyone over and we would make breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a group of guys. All day drinking, eating, and hanging out watching and guessing who would get picked, who was already a bust, then in the later rounds playing cards with everyone while the draft was in the background. The new format may bring more eyes to the draft but IMHO the one long day was king.
  19. Is this something that fans complain about when the team isnt a dumpster fire? I mean we had those awful uniforms in the early 2000s and I remember people just complaining about bad drafting and overpaying bad FAs.... what a world we live in now.
  20. They can really go BPA, anything but QB, P, K. FB they can justify if the player is there on the board.
