Worthy, Dozable, Casey Walker will get snaps as well. Has anyone focused on Walker in preseason? Can he occupy 2 interior lineman? We have a lot of tweeners (DT/DE) that make it difficult to run a 4-3...but we could go Hughes, Williams/Washington, Bryant, Worthy/Washington

The Washington Redskins game last year was the absolute low point for the D...no effort, no organization, no adjustments, no answers--the Bills made Kirk Cousins look like Tom Brady (Cousins' agent probably points to that game when he asks for more money). It was the game where Pegula's teenage son tweeted -- "Where's the defensive genius?" or something to that effect.. (I have been calling him Hank Steinbrenner/Jimmy Irsay ever since)... Maybe the Bills can return to the scene of the mugging/assault this week and show some improvement. I expect the Skins will show some motion, insert some packages, conduct pre-snap adjustments that are regular season like-- this is the only game in the preseason where I think the performance may in a limited way reflect what will happen in real games. Its a good challenge -- the Skins have talent...

I see positive signs like extra meetings called by the players. Everybody in the league has talent and the Bills have a lot of playmakers at skill positions on O and D--but talent only shines when everyone carries out their assignments.. Shady can create something from nothing but either point of attack or down field blocks need to be made Sammy can separate with the best -- but others have to execute play fakes, sell routes, pass block, deliver the ball to make it happen Gilmore can shut down the other teams #1 receiver but it matters little if the front seven doesn't get pressure or clog run lanes The Bills haven't had all 22 in a lot of years...I have seen signs that this year might be different but talk to me after the murders row stretch ends on November 20th..

Who have performed well in roles when given an opportunity to play.. Spikes - Run stopper, 2 down Bierman - Edge setter with some rush ability Hawthorne - Rush off the edge Z. Brown- Pro Bowl coverage ability Manny - Edge setter - probably most capable of 3 down play Lo Alexander - Like Manny -- not as good at edge setting but likely better in pass The key will be getting the right combination on the field at the right time...Z. Brown gets the most snaps just because of the way Offenses are going. Fans can be frustrated with the injuries but not by the way Monos and Whaley have responded to them..

This is a stellar deal even if its just the base...at this average Taylor is the 17th highest paid QB in the league. Think about it this way from a cap perspective...we are basically getting Jerry Hughes and Tyrod Taylor for the same price that the top paying QB teams pay for their QB...
