Sadly he passed on the MRI table...slipped off the table and fell, fractured his sternum and the bone pierced the heart...he's donating his patella tendon for patella trauma research.....sternum for sternum trauma research and big toe for toe trauma research. Shefty will be all over this in 15 minutes on twitter. (Hey its the Bills this could happen) #PrayersforReggie -

Bills announce contract extension for Tyrod Taylor
JoeF replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The $30 million over 2 years is fair for a bridge deal for both sides. Both sides probably only want something in place like this for two years..the Bills because they have been burnt before; TT and his agent because they see big bucks after this bridge contract but in the short term they get to collect a sum that guards against injury. To make this great for the Bills I would add a third and maybe fourth year at the team option at about $19-21 million per year. I think SalC suggested this -- it would be like the Percy Harvin deal where the team held options for 2 more years at $9 million per year base...if TT is lights out this will be an appropriate deal and it gives the Bills some certainty. If not the Bills can walk away... -

***** Fantastic script -- can't wait for the movie...thanks Astro... -
I agree with the sentiment but I believe hiring Adam Gase was their best move and gives them an opportunity to improve...I am a big fan of Gase...I think Tanneyhill takes a step this year. What's that mean...he reduces sacks, brings his completion percentage up to about 64% from 62% and reduces interceptions to single digits while throwing for 30 TDs.

Ten years too late and sixteen years out of the playoffs -- the story of the Bills for far too long.. -

Bills announce contract extension for Tyrod Taylor

It makes sense for both sides to get something that is mid-range QB done...$16-18 million announced or so. Very few QBs get paid before they make a post season run. Orsweiler played his situation perfectly. Got starting experience as his rookie deal was expiring. Showed enough to get paid. Time will tell if the Texans made a good bet. Taylor's timing is good to but he took a risk to get in the position. Taylor took an average back up QB deal and won the starting role. His agent structured the deal to opt out so if his client did well he could get paid quicker...but this is a game where you need to make a deal at the right time...put incentives in to give you upside but strike when you can to get the guaranteed money. I would not be opposed to something like 5 years $90 million announced -- but looking like this... - Signing Bonus - $16 million Year 1 base - $7 million (fully guaranteed) ($2 million in playoff and probowl incentives)- fits in this year's cap Year 2 base - $13 million (Fully guaranteed) ($2 million playoff and probowl incentives) Year 3 base $14.5 million, $2 million in playoff and probowl incentives Year 4 base $14.5 million, $2 million in playoff and probowl incentives Year 5 base $15 million, $2 million in playoff and probowl incentives Basically $36 million in guaranteed money -- and smaller cap hits if he is cut after year 2 ($9.6 million), Year 3 ($6.4 million) and year 4 ($3.2 million) if the Bills have to cut him.. This is good for everyone--he is going to be the Bills QB for the next two years likely no matter what--give him that certainty and the money that goes with it and lock him up for longer if he proves to be the franchise guy...,this is a bargain and spreads the cap money to keep and build depth around him -

Portland was a wonderful show.. Here is the set list: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/dead-and-company/2016/moda-center-portland-or-53ff07a1.html Highlights for me: - Bobby's voice was strong throughout. His cover of Dear Prudence was well done...he doesn't have the lyrics cadence of the original Beatles so its always interesting. - Tennessee Jed is always one of my favorites and the Mayer guitar solos add to it. Guitar solos on many songs highlighted how talented this young man is..Space was a good highlight of this as well. - Sugar Magnolia and Ripple were great and traditional encores.. - they are having fun. We were walking around Portland and saw Oteil -- when he was talking about the tour he was beaming. Nice guy. Well worth it...made me wish we were headed to the Gorge tonight.. -

When you combine an 0-3-0 starting record and the following stat line: 29 Completions 79 Attempts 36.4 completion percentage 364 yards 4 TDs 7 Ints and his amazing 10 - 26 record as the Bills head coach.. I gotta go with Kay Stephenson...best thing about Kay is that he led to Marv....who may be the best mid-season replacement coach in NFL history.. -
A lot of classics in there.....the thumb drawing was just too funny...
