  1. So there is a guy who was with Shady who pulled a 6' 3" 250 lb cop off another guy and proceeded to beat the living crap out of him....I'm thinking this year's IK has been found... There was a purpose to this thread..the Ryan brothers are perfect to scout bar fight talent and turn them into Football Players!!!!!!
  2. I have no added comments...I just want this thread to cross the 100 page mark.... #FreeShady #DeathbyChampagne
  3. Let's see--three potentially drunk cops clubbing at 3 AM....hmmmm -- I agree Yolo... The mayor and the head of the FOP really hurt this case with their idiotic statements...when the fact that three of Philly's finest were off duty clubbing at 3 AM is who they are defending...come the heck on...
  4. Something's bothering the DA...the Mayor comes out last week and says we are going after this perp and a week later -- still nothing. There is immense political pressure and the DA is the one who has to weigh all sides and make the decision to charge and what to charge.
  5. This isn't exactly a dream scenario for the City of Brotherly Love either....3 cops clubbing at 2:30 AM - likely intoxicated. A loose lips Mayor last week threatening one of the alleged perpetrators in an open, press attended forum... Wouldn't be surprised if a settlement that drops all charges is in the works...just speculating.
  6. Yep...also surprised he didn't get interviews
  7. Based on all evidence to date Scott, this statement is a solid opinion. The Pegula's have a pretty long runway with me because I know the team would likely be the LA or Toronto Bills without them. When I say a long runway...one !@#$ed up coaching choice is okay...just don't let the impact linger past this year. You have a great head coach in waiting on the staff -- get rid of the used car salesman and hire the coach.
  8. Like you Doc, I never expected Schwartz would stay. If they wanted Schwartz to stay they would have made him HC or hired their #2 choice which was Hue Jackson. Hue is close with NFL.com's Mike Silver. According to Silver, Hue would have kept Schwartz and the D staff. To be fair here..the O improved under Roman significantly--yes the team invested heavily -- trading for McCoy, signing Clay, Harvin, Incognito...if we could have matched Roman's O with Schwartz's D this was likely a playoff team...but ifs and buts were beer and nuts everyday would be a Bills tailgate....
  9. Just like the Bills -- always a bit behind the winners....
  10. That is so true Ryan--up 14 with a minute and a half to play with the other team with no timeouts -- I am thinking repeat of the Heidi Bowl....Its just the Bills way...
  11. One interesting note--Archie's face was blocked..his expression is basically the same as Eli's after Cooper sits down and you can see his face... Caption: To the Nationwide song: The Mother !@#$er has tied me now.. or I still had the better DirectTV commercial...
  12. Loogie in the coffee love him I bet.....
  13. I have a side agreement with TBN -- 2 cents a click.... ;-) We all say stop reading him but what are our other options to feed our addiction..
  14. I want to apologize to the mods for posting the whole article. Temporary brain fart.... This article smacks of an escalating feud between the Bills and the News. A true balanced column here would have: 1) Listed the coaches from the staff who were in Mobile (I don't know the answer to this). For example if Thurman, Rob, Crossman, Roman and the position coaches were at the Senior Bowl, does it really matter that Rex isn't there? 2) Backed up the premise of the story (Rex is playing fat and happy with his guaranteed contract) with other examples of him shirking it. 3) Outlined what Rex is actually doing in Hawaii -- its at least partially work related stuff--if Incognito signs for $5 million a year -- it was a successful trip. This all started with the article by Gleason questioning the Pegula's capability to own the Bills and the Sabres -- now Sully is on a Rex stakeout -- Skurski is snarky and Dunne (the guy who has to be present at OBD most often) is just writing factual accounts. As much as I think Sully is off base a lot -- I think the Editor in Chief is ordering this....The Pegula's have done enough to be the royal family in Buffalo and the News is serving as their Rupert Murdoch..
  15. The feud between the News and Bills grows...... http://bills.buffalonews.com/2016/01/30/hey-rex-send-us-a-postcard/
  16. Officially now Johnny Train Wreck....
  17. 1) At least my hairline is not receding as fast as yours... 2) Tell 58 I am filing criminal charges.... 3) Can we have Gronk for the Super Bowl? 4) Tyrod Taylor deserves the pro bowl, don't you think? 5) (To the Nationwide tune); Sorry that we kicked your ass...
  18. http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/12/14/bills-great-talley-says-current-team-lacks-sense-of-togetherness/ One scene was particularly alarming to Talley on his trip to London to see the Bills play the Jacksonville Jaguars. No, it wasn’t the ghastly 27-3 deficit Buffalo fell into, the domino fall of turnovers. It was his flight back to the states. There were two players on his commercial flight and the two players, Talley said, didn’t acknowledge each other the entire time. Not a word. One sat in first class, one sat in coach.
  19. She provides significant insight into what it takes to be a true team. I remember reading how irate Darryl was riding back from London with two members of the current Bills who didn't even acknowledge one another on the flight. I believe there has to be a solid foundation of caring for one another off the field to perform at a high level on the field. There has to be trust, discipline...it will be interesting to see if the kernel of trust that started to emerge the last two weeks -- can grow.. An aside, love the part where Talley and Hull ganged up on Jerry in charity basketball....
  20. Nearly as many laughs as Spaceballs...but not in the same league as Blazing Saddles
  21. My respect for Coach Lynn is even greater...he didn't want to be Chip's wait for the shake guy...(see Mel Brook's History of the World)..
  22. At first, Little Johnny's make-a-wish seemed a little outlandish...but everyone left happy especially after the free ice cream...
  23. Wegmans in Cary should be the new Bills/Sabres bar in the Triangle :-)-- close off part of the cafe on game days....
  24. Thanks for the insights...why worry about competition when you do business the right way and redefine the industry...
  25. Triangle has Harris Teeter which is now owned by Kroger as the largest player. Food Lion is also a big player. Publix entered the market about 3 years ago. Whole Foods has 3 locations. Trader Joe's 3 locations. Aldi I think 4 locations. Fresh Market and Earthfare also here with one location each I think. There is really no place like Wegmans...its a market ready to be picked and Wegman's already is a brand lots of local folks know because of relocation from WNY...
