And we should be giving Whaley props for giving up on the Goodwin experiment. Brown is at least a football player not a sprinter/long jumper trying to be a football player. Brown takes a hit and gets back up..something Goodwin could never do. Goodwin got $2.8 million for 2 years -- lets see what Brown got before we trash this. The Bills got a #4/PR whose more reliable and cheaper than Goodwin I bet.
Less snaps this year because Benjamin was back and Funchess developed but in 2015 the guy showed he can get separation from the slot and is a good punt returner. More of a slot than an outside.
The Bills head coach last year apparently was intent on getting a $15 million severance package and had a work ethic that reflected this. The Bills already had their tank years.. it was the two years under a coach who had lost his desire to coach.
Behind the scenes there have been a lot of changes in the last 60 days -- all pointed toward making this team more disciplined with a single focus on building schemes that fit current players talents. The Bills are definitely in rebuild mode -- a head coaching change that involves different schemes is a rebuild and the Bills do this way too often. Hopefully this time, it holds for a long time and McDermott is here for a decade plus..this is truly the way to win.
If the point of the original post is that the Patriots are way too good to compete with and so the Bills should just pack it in -- I would disagree. The Patriots are the thing to motivate the Bills to be better -- they are the Goliath to the Bills emerging David. Load up with young enthusiastic guys like Micah Hyde and get ready to punch back a bit.

On removing video games from the locker room: "I don't believe that playing video games in the locker room is earning the right to win."
The anti-Rex.....The ping pong table stays due to ball skills work....

No one gets us Doc...but that's okay...
Seriously, Tolbert is the ultimate wedge buster on KO, wedge blocker on KR and a great FB on punt team....Crossman is happy...

Under restructured deal w #Bills, Tyrod Taylor gets $7M signing bonus. Cap value for '16 goes from $16M to just under $10M.
This is his way of eating crow...

Taylor would have had several teams pursuing him had he hit the open market. Bills held ground in not picking up option, kept him anyway

Bills announce that Tyrod Taylor agreed to stay with them on a restructured contract. Huge win for them. Woulda been hard upgrading there

I think he has his eye on this one..
Vic did the classic cover his ass either way on this one....Tyrod could end up with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Vic would claim he was right all along...
Bills need a vet and rookie....
