  1. Agree with you...having one right now from a little local coffee shop...there is no comparison...
  2. Jeff McLane‏Verified account @Jeff_McLane Asked Doug Pederson if the #Eagles have any interest in signing Jeremy Maclin. "At this time, no," he said. Is it a "red flag" that coaches with ties to Reid are lukewarm-- McD's comment and now Pederson. Has he lost a step? Injury recovery taking longer?
  3. Happy Birthday, Kim! If Jerry has one more facelift his navel is going to be his mouth...
  4. Smug confidence more than anything...its almost Patriots like. I was more expressing that it would be nice to win one of these true head to head matchups for a player against a team and organization that is deemed superior by most pundits. That's it...
  5. Reading some tonight on twitter about how the Ravens always get their man when they target a UFA.....smug MFers...would love for the Bills to take them down a notch...
  6. Agree....The Ravens aren't in a position to create $7.25 million in space and if I were the Bills I wouldn't do this deal..
  7. The 2018 number is not guaranteed and there is no dead cap hit for releasing him after 2017. The base is large though...
  8. Very plausible...I also think $14 million total over 2 years is the magic number....if the Bills were at $4.5 million guaranteed for 2017 and $9.5 team option for next year...they met the standard but Condon didn't like the mix. I think the Bills held back a million shift to 2017 to respond to the Ravens offer if there is one. The old regime would have put all the chips on the table. The new regime says we have a great situation for Maclin here-- he would thrive -- but lets make sure we don't get shopped and then not have a response. I wouldn't be surprised if there is an agreement to check with the Bills before signing anything with another team.
  9. If he is acquired by a trade...only his base salaries the remaining 2 years of his contract count towards the cap and there is no dead cap hit for releasing him. His base salaries are: $7.25 million in 17 and $7.5 million in 18 according to Spotrac
  10. Team that trades for him takes on essentially a two year deal with no cap hit. Year 1 is $7.25M base salary; Year 2 is $7.5M base salary. Its not a bad option if the team has $7.25 M in room for the coming year that it is willing to dedicate to Decker.
  11. Watching the O's play??? Its a torture strategy right..fine line between love and hate...
  12. Russ--take charge....intercept him at the airport...drive in front of the plane..
  13. Bringing this thread full circle.....asparagus, brussel sprouts, Tom Petty, Mighty Taco, Ted's, the Marriott HarborCenter, SEAR, Tempo...love this about TBD...
  14. I would love this...he may not even make the team but at least this would satisfy his need to know if he could make it. He can't be much worse than Reggie Bush..
  15. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Bills-announce-coaching-interns-for-training-camp/f5edb0e9-729d-4f3d-a5a9-10b6aa5c42c5 Phoebe Schecter - a D coach from Great Britan. She looks good in pads.
  16. I have little doubt there have been conversations over the 2 1/2 years of official ownership...the fact that Bill is part of the NFL vetting of coaching candidates and McDermott was #1 on that list -- leads me to believe there have been lots of conversations.. I think the last 2 1/2 years have looked something like this -- Polian to Terry and Kim: 1) Keep Marrone and get rid of Whaley - not followed 2) Don't hire a buffoon - not followed 3) Get rid of the buffoon and Whaley -- they started to listen 4) Hire young and respected at coach and gm -- give them money to build an experienced staff and then give them time -- appears to have been followed.. The current organization has a long leash and lots of ownership patience and we likely have Bill Polian in part to thank or blame (please be thank!!!) for that..
  17. Spectacular view. Great room. No better place to sell Buffalo....
  18. The presidential suite at the Marriott HarborCenter is aces...great view of the Lake...
  19. Decker's release is the perfect opportunity to close this deal now..The market changed this afternoon to slightly more of a buyers market. If the Bills didn't change their offer its a show of good faith. Take it now Maclin...over the last glass of wine...seal the deal.
  20. We lose a comp pick at Tempo. We gain a comp pick at Mighty Taco. What about the future
  21. Make believe I wrote something controversial so we can debate it for another 32 pages and get this thread to 100...Check that..maybe Tom Petty will do it...one of my favorite concerts was almost 31 years ago -- at the Astroworld Amphitheater -- Petty and Dylan. I couldn't talk without a nasaly wheeze for days..
  22. I get where you are going -- but until we see the current team perform in meaningful regular season games and post-season games its tough to judge...Thurman for example was just amazing through key regular season games, the AFC division round and championship games..So was Reed.. Overall Shady is likely Thurman's equal...different styles but HOF level talents Watkins, Maclin, Jones vs. Reed, Lofton, Beebe vs. Moulds and his cast over time -- this group has more potential but again would have to deliver TE-Clay is likely the Bills most althletic tight end - but Metz, Friggin Lonnie, etc. were good quality system players QB-Kelly >>> Flutie > Tyrod in my book but its close with Flutie and Tyrod and we will see development this year...
  23. Streater or Holmes are better than Hunter; Tate 2017 is better than Tate 2016 and Philly Brown is in a league of his own...Cam's go to guy on a lot of 3rd downs..
