The biggest issue is the takeout containers, IMO. Foam containers are the worst.. Cardboard/composite of some sort is much better, especially if it has steam escape holes. But of course, takeout is virtually never as good as eating it right after they come out. Pizza is similar, IMO. The pizza maker at one place here in St Augustine would take an ice pick and poke holes in the top of the pizza box. It made a huge difference in the crust when you got home. Truth is, the pizza was just OK, but he cared enough to take the extra effort.

Why only protect three, when they can protect four? Is there some advantage to that I'm unaware of?

I think I've actually been charged by Amazon before the product was shipped recently (occasionally). Never used to happen, but I find that happening more frequently these days. Did not know it was a regulation.

The original Duffs is NOT a bar. Period. It is a restaurant. I don't even think it has a liquor license outside of beer and wine.

This. I'm betting he makes this his project one offseason. He seems to pick a perceived flaw and attack it between seasons.

The original Duffs location makes GREAT wings. But it has no atmosphere at all. I was a bit surprised to find it really hadn't changed since the last time I was there--maybe 6-8 years ago. I will say the service was fantastic, though.

Again, I haven't had it in maybe 10 years. So perhaps it has changed. But I always considered it extremely pedestrian. No craft to it at all.

Extremely mediocre last time I had them (which was quite a few years ago). But not quite as bad as their pizza. There really is only ONE real Anchor Bar location. The original one. But I agree, the airport location is pretty decent for an airport restaurant.

Not sure what this means. How is it "proven"? What's the criteria for what constitutes a "good investment " in this case? Simply financial considerations? I wouldn't think anyone plunking down PSL money expects to make money from the investment.

Only had time for one beef and one order of wings, this time in WNY. A top notch beef at the Glen Park Tavern in Williamsville. I've never had one there that wasn't spectacular. The crispy fresh cut fries, with gravy just made it better. Fantastic order of Super Hot wings at Duffs. Very crispy and swimming in a bowl of fabulous sauce. Properly cooked wings do NOT get soggy even when drenched in sauce. Minor nit: the sauce wasn't as hot as theold suicide. Still great. Maybe best of all, a double double (steak and cheese) from Viola's on Elmwood in The Falls.

Not a Bills fan? "Bills Mafia" is now owned by the Bills themselves. It really just stands for "Bills Fans". And the Bills Mafia is responsible for some terrific fund raising projects. But I guess that's not your cup-o-tea. Offended by the word, "mafia". Why? Do you know what it means? In the original Sicilian, it means roughly, Swagger. One of the many modern definitions of mafia is: "a group of people of similar interests or backgrounds prominent in a particular field or enterprise : CLIQUE" A group of people interested in the Bills and with SWAGGER. How horrible!!! Stuck on the negative definition of a criminal organization? I hope you also speak out against: The Pirates, Raiders, Buccaneers, Devils, etc. All have negative connotations---if you are really intent on concentrating on the negative.

I missed where you stated the number of rookie QBs that started the year with their team, and the number of those QBs who took their teams to the playoffs. That should be a VERY simple calculation. But without both numbers, it's hard to know what the hell is going on, IMO. I'm not saying that's the best way to judge if Mac has a good or very poor chance of taking the Pats* to the playoffs, since football is a TEAM sport and the QB is only one factor. But at least it would be verifiable. Without every piece of data, it's hard to know.

Did he say ANYTHING about the crowd being a cause for his getting hyped before the game. ANYTHING? If not, your comment about the crowd remains unsubstantiated.

Other than the purity of the fryer, I can't find Gluten in any Buffalo wing ingredients. I understand for those VERY sensitive, the fryer oil needs to be clean. But is there any gluten in Franks? Don't think so. None in most hot sauces, as far as a know. None in butter.

I'm wondering if this is a British expression or if I'm missing something. I have no clue what it means to have 1 or 3 "lots" of a player. Take me to school, Gunner.
