Very well could be. I'm not sure how grounded in reality AB is anymore. Two things about the story don't seem right. First of all, I have it on pretty good authority NO contract terms were discussed--it never got that far. So I think the "big contract" is either a fabrication of Brown's ego, or something his agent might have thrown out there to see if he was interested. The second odd thing about the story is AB still didn't know Josh Allen, not Rosen, was the Bills' QB as recently as this offseason. But then again, who knows what AB really thinks?

I believe your friend told you this. So if that's what you are swearing your life to, fine. If you are swearing your life that things actually went down as your friend was told, you might want to hold off swearing to that.

Cincinnati Bengals Lousy Interview Setup Generates Hilarious Memes

Put the money on the field! Don't need a fancy interview room. But, seriously? Gotta be an explanation here. -

I find it interesting that people don't understand the influence small numbers have on percentage gains. If .02 goes to .5, that's a 2,400% increase! It's still a really small number. I read an article that noted that the sale of non-alcoholic "cocktails" has increased at a greater percentage than alcoholic cocktails last year. Duh. It really wasn't even a category not too long ago. And yes, it's easier to get better when you are the bottom because slight increases mean something at that level. Actually I expect KC's defense to improve over the course of the season. And it could get better against the Bills. Wouldn't surprise me. But the Bills O can definately play better than they have so far this year. So it will be interesting to be sure. The Bills definately have the talent to kick KC's butt. But until it happens there will always be doubters.

I thought this was a clear giveaway:

I think replacing Billy with most anything is an upgrade -
I'd say the Biils ranking 6th indicate the investment HAS paid dividends. Why concern yourself with individual stats? Having TEAM success is far better than individual success, IMO. My one real concern is they haven't closed the deal enough with the pressure. But typically that takes care of itself, I think. Plus Rosseau is a ROOKIE who was supposed to need some seasoning. So this is all pretty much positive, IMO

A lot of crazy stuff here. Which particular crazy piece did you just read?

Lane actually has some NFL experience. I'm thinking Mike Leach would be the perfect crappy candidate. Either would be hysterical, though.

Funny stuff. But you do understand this was sarcasm/parody, right? Almost like an Onion article.

I can't recommend this post enough (other than the typo, but let's move on). Nearly every city I've ever visited has some fun to be found. And actually, fun is on the inside of a person, not in the outside world. MAKE the fun if you can't find it. But usually, you can find it. I guess growing up in WNY teaches you that, to a degree. WOW, now this is a helpful post. Outstanding! Well done, sir.

Yup. That would be my take. Some HCs who are very close and their teams are not in too much conflict probably check in on occasion. But since I'm really guessing a bit here, I imagine assistant coaches do a lot more of this. Especially the younger assistants, who have spent a little time on other teams. They may have mentors. While (for the most part) NFL head coaches have interacted with many different coaches and have plucked information from all of them on the way up the ranks. The younger ones may still looking for that information. I suppose they continue to use outside sources until those sources cut their rope, or screw them once too often.

Imagine the fuss that would be made if the Bills played in an enclosed stadium* and just about ANY weather was unusual. Thankfully this team is used to inclement weather. * I don't call any enclosed stadium a "dome" because I'm not that stupid. If it doesn't have a dome-shaped roof, it isn't a dome. Pretty simple, actually.

You are now explaining to yourself one of the reasons they only got a 6th round pick. You get that, right?
