  1. I REALLY hope that isn't the case. If that is the case, the players cleary will know. That is ANTI process, IMO. You don't give guys "rest" for the 4th game of the year. Legit injury, then of course you sit them. Big upsets can happen when a team takes their "inferior" opponent too lightly. That's what I assume, and hope is the plan.
  2. Mithril perhaps?
  3. I hadn't seen it mentioned earlier. It wasn't meant as a competitive thing. Just for completeness. The newer record is probably more relevant, for sure.
  4. The last HC to succeed with ZERO NFL experience is Jimmy Johnson, I believe. I suppose I should make clear I mean "sustained success" as some might say Chip Kelly had a good year or two.
  5. And now I'm hungry.
  6. Excellent advice. I'd opt for pappardelle with the boar, but it's all good.
  7. They make the same amount of noise, but it dissipates throughout the cavernous stadium. The decibel level on the field is dramatically different, I'm guessing. And the visual impact is preposterous. I agree, the Bulls playing in a huge stadium seems ridiculous, unless and until they grow the program. IF this is a cog in them doing just that, I welcome that. But I wouldn't put the cart before the horse in this case.
  8. I REALLY hope the team isn't thinking that way. It is a recipe for disaster. I don't think fans should think that way either. Holy crap. Get over it. I'm not sure there is a way for him to appear any dumber. When you are the bottom, there is nowhere left to go.
  9. Brown has only played Tackle in games so far, from what I have seen
  10. Wasn't meant as a correction, but rather as additional information. 29 games is the actual longest NFL losing streak I believe taking a HC job in the NFL when coming from college ball WITH ZERO NFL EXPERIENCE (coaching or playing) is the ultimate arrogance. Take an assistant coaching job first, get to know the pro game.
  11. And so boring on the windy field in OP. Just horrible!!
  12. You simply cannot build a billion plus dollar stadium without spending a good chunk of it on consultants and lawyers. Not going to happen. Expect more. Good point. Josh SUCKED in the wind last week against Washington. Just freaking terrible!!! Seriously you cannot build a stadium to fit the makeup of your current team. That's just insanity. Plus, the weather impacts BOTH teams and QBs. Who would you rather have throwing in wind and bad weather? I'll take Josh over most of the other QBs in the league. But that's no reason to build a stadium that purposefully swirls winds.
  13. I would think/hope so/
  14. Miscommunication here. I certainly understand vet rest during the week. This was in response to those who think we should rest a vet/some vets for the ACTUAL GAME, because the competition is deemed so inferior. THAT is what I'm taking exception to. Comprende?
  15. Actually, the Chicago Cardinals had a 29 game losing streak https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_National_Football_League_longest_losing_streaks
  16. "Resting" players in Week #4? Seriously? That better not be the way this team thinks. This isn't a meaningless game at the end of the year. You don't rest players in week #4. Now, if you have a player who is injured with something that has a good chance of being exacerbated this week, then maybe you keep him from playing to protect him. But IMO that has to be legit. If the players can tell the bosses aren't taking the game seriously maybe they don't take it all that seriously either.
  17. Rutkowski? You been drinking again? Beebe was fast, but nowhere near what is on the roster now, IMO. Hill, Rashad and Chandler were all legit though, I'll give you that.
  18. I think that's the case for most teams. It's terrible.
  19. That's what I saw as well.
  20. The link opened in the current tab instead of a new one, as it usually does. Did you do something special to make that happen? I have noticed that behavior on a couple of other occasions here. EDIT: Now i click it and it opened in a new tab. So the issue may be on my end.
  21. Actually that's the only reason I could think of for keeping only three. You did WHAT?
  22. Thanks. I didn't notice the boot. He can sit out a few practices. I just hope he can play on Sunday,
  23. I believe individually they are underrated. But they seem to get some love as a duo. Just my observation. As Gunner already said, he did not. But he wasn't visibly limping or anything after the game from what I saw.
  24. I'm assuming the "Questionable" tag for Poyer today isn't going to stick. I was a bit shocked when I saw it, however, as I hadn't heard about anyone coming out of the game injured. And please, don't just say "It's the Texans, doesn't matter."
