  1. I was just coming to ask that very question. I didn't notice it on TV
  2. Probably close to 100% I'm thinking.
  3. I totally agree with your assessment of SubUrban. But let's face it, there is no good way to apologize in this case. Any way would be trashed by those who are looking to trash. This seemed the most genuine way (or somewhat genuine way) he could work up. that is great
  4. But he IS a pathetic child, in this instance. So he looked like one. You'd like him to be something other than genuine apparently. I think most any other approach would have come off as phony or arrogant. It's tough when you get caught doing something stupid. Best way is to fess up and ask for forgiveness, IMO.
  5. What are you talking about. Maybe there was a few boos, or he thought he heard a few boos. The home fan base was NOT booing him, Sheesh, if all it takes is a couple of boos to mess with a player's head, there is something wrong with the player, not the fan base.
  6. What does the First Amendment have to do with any of this? Was there some discussion of Congress making a law regarding this?
  7. What's the "good way" to admit you screwed up? I thought he seemed extremely contrite. He IS like a child who got caught doing something bad. i think his approach is about as good as it gets in that situation.
  8. Nobody I know who was at the game heard booing. But perhaps there was some, scattered here and there. Maybe some right near Beasley. That and people yelling at him to get vaxxed lead him to believe it was more widespread. I'm still not sure this is any reason to tweet out an insult to the fan base. But it is only a distraction if it is a distraction to the TEAM, not the fanbase. So far, the team has done an excellent job of shutting out this nonsense. I hope it can continue. Here's the Profootballtalk take: https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/10/04/cole-beasley-complains-that-bills-fans-are-yelling-at-him-to-get-vaccinated/
  9. I've seen worse. At least he owned up to actually being there.
  10. ' There aren't many. I'll give you that. Bruce Arians is a seasoned NFL pro. And his teams win. Big difference, I think. Also, I don't recall seeing videos/pictures of him partying the weekend after a loss. He might, though.
  11. In my experience, most wives, even those who profess to being fine with this kind of behavior, are NOT fine with it being worldwide news. For some reason they don't like to be embarrassed publicly. Especially from a man who cherishes his family so much (at least publically). Crazy, I know. And I'm not sure Jags fans want to see their coach, who is now 0-4, partying like he's a college kid. His butt should be watching film. Sleep, eat, coach. PERIOD. At least until you learn the pro game enough to win one or two. I know fans are crazy to expect their coach to act like an adult professional.
  12. I think the #1 reason the lost week one was untimely penalties. Mostly on the OL.
  13. The only job of a play by play announcer is to call the play. Is she calling the play incorrectly? Is she getting the players names wrong? These are the things that should bother someone from a play by play announcer. From what I can tell, the biggest complaint is "I don't like her voice". WEAK
  14. I'm in St Augustine. I did got there once to meet friends on the West Coast of Florida. Loved it. Would love to go back. But I bought the Sunday Ticket this year, so unless something comes up, I probably won't be driving 3+ hours this season. But you never know.
  15. Were you at Buffalo City? I watched a game there once and it was great.
  16. I don't get the hate. She was/is fine as a play by play person.
  17. Of course the Bills will look to replace an OL with someone better, but NOT UNTIL they find someone who will be better,. They just don't throw out guys without having a better guy to put in. So my question to you, since you seem to think Daboll is "easily replaceable" (which might be one of the most absurd comments I've heard this year) is WHO? Since it is so easy, WHO should replace him. Right now, who is doing a better job at calling plays and designing an offense AND would come to the Bills with no path to being the HC? If you can't name five guys, then he is NOT easily replaceable, IMO.
  18. Be careful what you wish for. Yes, I agree Daboll, at times, seems to lose the rhythm of the team with his play calling. But his offense if very well designed. He obviously has a great working relationship with Josh and McDermott. And the Bills offense has been on absolute fire the past two years. So if he goes, who replaces him? What are the chances they will be BETTER than Daboll? No OC is perfect. We;ve seen plenty right in Buffalo that seem great, but just have a major flaw or two when it comes to play calling. As I hope we both can agree Daboll is in the top third of offensive coordinators (I think he's much higher than that, but for this discussion lets just give him that). If he goes, what are the chances the new OC is not only a better play caller, but also see's eye to eye on the scheme with the QB and HC (yes, this IS important) designs a better offense and has the kind of success Daboll has had with this offense? IF he gets a HC job it will be because the GMs recognize his excellence. Not because he fooled them by riding Josh's excellence.
  19. You very well may be right. And even if you are right, perhaps his very understanding wife isn't happy about being publicly embarrassed (if she is indeed embarrassed). I think we may find out.
  20. I'm thinking we will be hearing that Suburban needs to resign from the Jags to spend more time with his family/for health reasons.
  21. I checked for Sutter's a couple weeks ago, too. While i was on vacation my friend's wife, a great cook but not from Buffalo, made wings for the WFT game. They were very good, but she coated them in baking powder because she read they helped make the wings crispy. The wings were crispy. They were "fine". I had a few. But there is ZERO need to coat them to make they crispy and they changed the flavor and texture of the wings. That and they weren't nearly hot enough for me.
  22. Many on this board gave Fletcher the same treatment you see with Edmunds. "Only makes tackles down the field" That was a big one. He was regularly blasted here.
