  1. Do these people you meet claim to be the player's BEST FRIEND? Did they then tell you about his private, personal business? Did the person claiming to receive Knox's letter claim to be his wife?
  2. Bulls#it. This might very well happen despite you completely making up a story. I know this has turned into a discussion about Harry staying/ leaving. But the real issue here is your completely unbelievable post, IMO
  3. Only read the 1st page, so I can only assume this has already been said. But on the off chance it hasn't... This sounds like COMPLETE BS. His "best friend " let some stranger read text messages about the details surrounding his FA plans. Right. Sure. Best friends do that stuff all the time. That's what makes them the best,,, Either you are simply a liar (my #1 guess here), or are stupid enough to actually believe some other, fairly obvious liar--then not have the sense to check your information before spreading it ( a strong #2 guess IMO). In the very unlikely event your story is trueish, I have to assume the idiot you met is no longer Harry's "best friend".
  4. Welcome to the Monkey House
  5. Better empty than having a Pats* fan in it.
  6. If you are looking to meet others from this forum, then Hammer's Lot might be your best bet. You are virtually guaranteed to do so. As Augie said, just don't expect to park there. But if you are just looking for a great tailgate and just want to have fun---it's a Bills game. There will be great parties in most lots. Bills fans are very welcoming. Bring something to contribute if you can. I would sometimes just party hop. Even did it when we had our own tailgate going.
  7. My local liquor store just got a big allotment. Think it came in yesterday or today
  8. I can't answer your question as I haven't been to a game in Buffalo this year. But as long as it is a vaccination card, the only way to verify it is to make a call to the provider. No bar code, no QR code, no hologram, etc. I heard you simply have your card out, and they take a peek.. Maybe they do a random stop or delay you if it looks suspicious. I'm sure someone who has been there will check in. But the only way to make sure EVERYONE is legitimately vaccinated would take a couple days. People bring in booze and they aren't supposed to. Of course some unvaccinated people can slip through.
  9. Not quite like Colorodo (from what I've been told) California or Mass. Only medical, so it's tightly controlled. But we do have a few competing dispensaries here. I can order online and have it delivered or pick it up. I can also just go in, and shop right in the store. The issue has been keeping the products in stock. 🤣 Back in the day, that was always our motto. Car in good working order (no lights out and such), stay within the speed limit, full stop at stop signs, etc. Funny thing is, one of the only things I was ever super organized with was drugs and drug related paraphernalia. Always put the roach clip here, always put the pipe here, etc. That way you can get to it if you need to. Fortunately nothing ever went down. Don't have to worry about that any more. Can't even believe I used to drive that way. And like your friend, I was a damn good buzzed driver. Still, not something I care to do anymore. Don't sound preachy at all, at least not to me. In Bradham's case, a medical condition has nothing to do with this, IMO. I understand, Bill. From my first post I can see how you may have thought I was driving around stoned. Funny thing though, I have concentrates pushing 90% THC. I use that at night for pain or sometimes for sleep. At that level, it's great medically for me. But I rarely get "high" off it. At least, not nearly the same kind of high I get from smoking just a bit of pot that typically has a THC level in the high teens (sometimes breaks 20%). I never can understand that. Two hits off a joint or pipe and I'm flying. I like that sometime with a cocktail. But that's for home use. Edibles are an entirely different beast, for me. I like to take an edible before bed, since it releases over time, it helps keep me asleep and pain free. But I have to be careful to remember what I had before going to bed. Make a mistake and the next day could be tough for me to do anything but hang out and sleep. But lower dosed edibles or vapes are decent for the daytime. A good CBD with a tiny bit of THC which together do a pretty good job with my pain. Before a Bills game, I may take two!
  10. Your points are excellent. Just one thing. A medical card (just the card) is about $75 in Florida. But you also have to see your med marijuana doctor twice a year. For me that's about $500/year BEFORE buying any product. Still a drop in the bucket for Nigel, one would think. Funny thing, Bill. I basically don't use THC at all during the day. My pain is worse at night, so that's my usual time and I'm normally home at night. But my doctor wants me to use it all day! Low dose, of course, but still a bit of THC. For the record, my doctor used to be the head of anesthesiology for Shand's (University of Florida) in Gainesville for years. Before that he was a pharmacist. Very well respected as a doctor. Some clowns here just pass out licenses to whomever and do little else. An appointment with my guy is a real doctor appointment. And I never drive stoned or drunk anymore. I haven't in years. I may have a small bit of THC in my system, or have one or two drinks (over the course of an hour or two), but never near the legal limit. In fact, on Sunday I was supposed to go watch the game with friends, but I didn't feel like I should drive. I woke up feeling stoned after 8 hours of sleep. Turns out I mistakenly took a double dose before going to sleep and it was still in my system. So I stayed home.
  11. Like I said, the blitzer was likely Josh's responsibility. But I'm talking about helping your QB out. Breida was obviously not the hot read on a timing pattern. Josh is looking to his left and not in position to hit Breida on a quick pass. At the very least, he could have alerted Allen (I think he can probably run and shout at the same time). But I think a more experienced back would have chipped the safety on the way out. Players go beyond their basic responsibility some time to make plays. Let me put this another way, I think he's hearing about it this week.
  12. It is for a medical condition. Plus I actually enjoy getting high. Used to do "real drugs" as you put it, but those highs don't seem to be very good anymore for me at this time in my life. Weed and alcohol work just fine. But I do use Medical Marijuana for pain, insomnia, etc. Lost 60 lbs, was able to cut back on BP meds, no longer need pills for breakthrough pain (I wear a fentanyl patch as well--20 years now, same dose) or Ambien and such for sleep. My doctor says I'm the poster child for med marijuana.
  13. Fortunately I'm in the other 50%. Why smoke in your car when there are so many less odorous ways to consume your thc while driving?
  14. Take the Chiefs for example. Everyone said they improved their OL this year because they added talent. Well, they added talent, but they didn't improve the line at all. McBeane has shown they understand team chemistry and the way the talent meshes together. Clearly they haven't quite figured out the OL, yet. But I think they will in time.
  15. After the draft, the consensus seemed to be Basham would make the team and get playing time right off the bat, and Groot may have to take a "redshirt year". So I definately understood Beane's approach in the draft. Plus the Bills definately needed to get younger (and less expensive) at theses spots. Interestingly, Groot is the one who came out looking pretty NFL ready right from the start. He still has work to do, of course. Boogie has looked pretty good, IMO, during his limited playing time. But remember, the Bills use all of their D lineman in a heavy rotation. It's tough to break into the starting lineup and then tough to get too many reps, when you are constantly being rotated. As guys like Hughes and Addison move on, I think Boogie will be ready to step right on in. His ability to play inside as well as outside will help, as well.
  16. Yes, I understanding winning is the cure for all faults. Gretzky didn't check. Rodman didn't score (even when he had an easy layup or dunk), etc. They were mostly saved from criticism because their TEAMS won. (Tom Brady didn't win 6 SBs, the teams he played on did. And, no, I'm not saying he wasn't an integral part. Of course he was.) But not noticing a total lack of effort? Sorry, that's not in my playbook. Kelly never changed his tough style even though he was a consistent winner. I don't expect Josh will, either.
  17. No kidding. As much (probably deserved) crap as Teddy is getting, I don't think I ever heard one peep from the NFL related press about Tommy's constant refusal to avoid making a tackle after a turnover. It's almost never even mentioned. I actually like Teddy and think he's had a cursed career. But this is not a good look for him. Now if it was injury related, then maybe I give him a break. But I haven't heard that used as an official explanation. For what it is worth, he finally sort of owned up to a poor effort. Sort of: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32639394/denver-broncos-qb-teddy-bridgewater-own-failing-team-low-effort-fumble-recovery-td
  18. Sorry, I didn't mean he came from his blind side. But I said he was blindsided. So I can see the confusion. As you can see from the video he is totally unaware of the blitz on this. It was well disguised, I'd say. Breida say it, though. From what I see, Josh might have had 2 seconds. Maybe.
  19. Sorry, I just can't believe, when the RB sees someone racing toward his QB his job is to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. (This wasn't a designed screen where you expect and encourage the defensive pressure,) Not even communicating to the QB, there is someone coming free. I'm not arguing it was Josh's responsibility. I'm just saying Breida could have found a way to help him out. I'm fairly certain Moss, and even Singletary would have done something. This
  20. Don't expect that to change anytime soon. There will be no halftime adjustment,
  21. OK I finally see this being discussed. I noticed this as well. I think protecting the QB HAS to be a priority in this case. I'm not saying that was his responsibility as I simply do not know (and neither do any of you). But I'm guessing Moss would have at least chipped him on the way out. Couldn't he at least given Josh a heads-up? He clearly did not know the defender was coming unabated.
  22. I think Brieda adds an element that is otherwise missing in the backfield. He had a nice day filling in and stepping up. But something has gone undiscussed (from what I have seen) that is concerning and might speak to why we don't see more of him. Did you see the HUGE hit on Josh when the blitzer was not picked up and went unnoticed by Allen? Matt ran right by him as he was heading in. I'm not suggesting I know his responsibility on that play, but it has to be SOMETHING. Didn't block or even chip. How about a shout out to Josh so he isn't totally blindsided. Funbles, missed blocks---that's the kind of stuff that can get a seemingly good back benched.
  23. Hasn't the "Beane when after AB" been discounted by now? Making a call is not "going after". That's his JOB. To make calls when players hit the market. If it didn't he'd be ignoring his responsibility. That makes it sound like the Bills were in some bidding war for AB. They were NOT. And of all the things the Bills may need, WR is NOT one of them at the moment. Especially when the WR is a head case whose best years were, well, years ago. Sanders is an exponentially better pickup, IMO.
