Bills cuts to get to 53 [final info in the OP]

Me neither. Hence my comment. But I'm guessing he meant "minimum age", but then again, I'm old. -
John Brown requested a release from the Raiders

I wish Brown well. He was a good player, and teammate, while on the Bills. -

Nobody has proved to the coaching staff that they are in the same league. If/when they do, I imagine Taiwan will be gone. So yes, at this point in time, I have to assme he is head and shoulders above some of the others being considered. At I know how to tell time. It's past 4! Where's the 53 list? -

Wow, what a strategy. Then why keep an extra RB when they don't run much? Seriously, that is some flawed thinking. IMO. -
Is Barber's still there? I loved those old fashioned "see the beer taps". I used to drive up from Buffalo a couple times a summer just to take a drive and hang out at Barber's. I don't remember the wings, though. Loved the grill behind the bar in the back.

Replacing a top notch ST player for a player who "can do the job" is a preposterous trade off, IMO. Especially when you are dealing with back of the roster offensive or defensive players. Those players very rarely get an opportunity to play offense or defense, so their contribution to those units is minimal. OTOH, a great ST player makes a big impact several times in virtually every game. A great ST unit needs players who are great at the job, -
There has been a ton if discussion about air fryers and wings here, but it's always occurred in the Off the Wall forum. So you might want to check there. Just a tip. But that leads me to ask, why is this chicken wing thread still on the main, Buffalo Bills football page? I really don't care that much, but given the stuff that gets moved there, this stands out like a sort thumb, IMO.

Goodbye to Marcel Louis-Jacques, Hello Alaina Getzenberg

Why would one ever worry about this? Wish the man good luck and then be on your way. -

Good luck to him. He is a solid reporter, IMO. We were fortunate to have him cover the Bills -
I think it's fairly clear that, unless something changes, Wallace is the starter and Jackson is a roster lock. But I'm ASSUMING that based on the information so far, and from what I saw during the preseason game. So it's my (and your) opinion. But it is not official, as of yet. Was that so hard? And as long as I'm spouting assumptions: I think Frazier is saying what he means: Technically it is still a competition. I think for the most part, this serves as motivation. A warning to Wallace that he can't assume he's the guy---and to Jackson, to tell him he has a chance if he really can produce. Motivation and a challenge to both players.

I do this quite often down here. For 2/3 reasons. As you say, they stay crispier. And I think they reheat better/crispier w/o the sauce. And if the sauce isn't up to par, I can just use my own homemade sauce, which is superior to most anything you get here. It sucks to have an allergy that bad. You gotta be REALLY careful. And I've worked in restaurants that keep a seperate fish fryer. Especially in Buffalo. Can you imagine what the wings would taste like on a fish fry Friday? Mister Dee's didn't serve wings on Friday, because they only had one fryer. BTW, have they reopened yet? I heard it was bought by someone. But that wasn't confirmed. I was under the impression he meant very little sauce, not completely sauceless. In some places the difference between mild, medium and hot is just the amount of sauce they put on. So some "mild" wings can be fairly sauceless. I do not know if that happened to him, but I'm guessing that's what it was. Breaded wings are fine---as long as you aren't serving Buffalo Wings. The crap Hooters served are NOT Buffalo Wings.

I'm not disputing your experience or opinion, but the bolded is basically meaningless and I think you know that. Ranked by whom? When? Against what competition? Who were the judges? What was the criteria? Etc. Every bourbon/vodka/etc was voted Best in America! There are so many competitions and so many awards. It's all marketing.

I'm not doubting this happened to you. But do you know if they typically cook the fish/shrimp in the wing oil? Or could it have been mistake on that day? Or something they used to do? That's a horrible thing to do, even if people didn't have the allergies. It makes the wings taste terrible. Fries, too. A place as big as Duffs should definately have a separate fryer. I must say, I don't remember their wings ever having an off flavor.

Very nice thanks for passing this along. Some great stories in the NFL. On a side note, did something happen with Twitter recently. I can no longer "view more replies". I now get the popup to sign in or join. This just started happening to me the other day. I'll clear the cookies and cache and see what I come up with. I'm sure there are workarounds, but just wondering if others are having the same issue. I have no interest in signing up for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc, just to view posts.

Perfect! Mine is on the 2nd.

Agreed. Too many great places to focus on just one, IMO. On an entirely unrelated point: Understand I'm an old timer, but back in the day (don't you hate that expression?) honey mustard wings were NOT "real" wings (meaning classic Buffalo wings). Many, if not most of the alternative flavors aren't Buffalo creations at all. Now I'm not saying I don't enjoy some of the different flavors of wings, I just would never refer to them as Buffalo Wings. Buffalo Wings have Buffalo style sauce on them. Pretty simple, when you think about it, no? Getting flavorful wings isn't a problem outside Buffalo, IMO. Getting great BUFFALO wings is the tough part. Especially if you like your wings "suicidal" hot.

GAME BALLS - Packers v. Bills, 08/28/21
The Dean replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No matter what you think of Edmunds, the Bills exercised his 5th year option this spring. Would Beane have done that for a player who he considered to be in danger of getting benched? I believe he also has suggested they would like to get his extension done at some point. I believe the Bills think far more highly of Edmunds that do you. -
McKenzie found the common sense [Edit: got vaxxed]

Good for Little Dirty. Hope he talks to a few of the other players. -
I remember grilling (and the adults partying) in the private driveways/yards where we would park. Since you seem sincere, I'll try. There is a crapload of land in OP surrounding the stadium. Including other lots besides the stadium lots, there are way more spots than are needed for cars. So a decent part of these lots is NOT dedicated to parking, but shares the space with tailgaters. I can't imagine, with GREATLY reduced parking, the lot owners downtown would be happy to give up a decent portion of paid spots for people to drink and party. It's the particular situation the Bills fans have at OP that allows this to happen at the level it currently exists. In fact, some of the support for a downtown stadium was to reduce or eliminate the kind of tailgating Bills fans currently enjoy. Hope that helps

Call your shot … who will get the #1 seed in the AFC?
The Dean replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For what it's worth, why don't you think they wouldn't run through a wall for McDermott? On the field, I have complete confidence in this team's commitment and football culture. -
For people with no sense of shape. I hear people in Atlanta call all soda pop "coke". That doesn't' mean it isn't stupid. "Enclosed" is a far better term. Then again I get pissed when people refer to any place in New York outside of the NYC metro as "Upstate New York". Just looking for a bit more specificity!
