Will your respect for Tom Brady change when he retires?
What a Tuel replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
I see he is now renting a house in Miami for 70k a month. Some would say it is to be near his kids, others would say it is part 2 of Miami Collusion! https://www.totalprosports.com/nfl/tom-brady-luxury-apartment-rental-major-hint-nfl-future/ Take more draft picks! 🤣 -
Nick Wright is basically a chiefs fan with a microphone trolling other fan bases, mostly the Bills. Mostly Bills because 1) we appear to be one of the most vocal, and participatory fan bases which is good for his ratings and 2) any chiefs fan who even gets the slightest hint that someone may be as good or better than Mahomes at anything, they/he will have a vendetta against and cry about it constantly.

Updated: categorization of Josh Allen fumbles
What a Tuel replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
They really need to separate out INTs from tipped INTs too. If the WR affects the trajectory of a ball and doesn't catch it or knock it down, it should go into TINT category and not be in QB stats. D Line tips and DB tips should still be counted I think. -
They trailed 17-3 at the half. The comparison is that you think you know what would have happened when this occurred: 7-3 Cincinatti on the Bills 48 yard line with 8:00 minutes left in the 1st quarter. Cin - TD Bills - FG Cin - Driving But then wouldn't the Bucs have won when this happened with 0 minutes left in the half? 17-3 Bucs get the ball back after the half Cin - INT TB - FG Cin - Punt TB - TD Cin - Punt TB - Missed FG Cin - Punt TB - TD Cin - FG

I think that's fine but people are turning it into a narrative like the "bills can't win close games" nonsense. I don't think 2 more INTs in a season more than Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow warrants a "turnover machine" tag. -
And we have 3 backups/rookies playing safety/cb as well as missing Von Miller. This isn't a race to the bottom but we may not get the pressure on Burrow we need before someone gets open. We shall see in a few short days. Lets both just hope the Chiefs lose to the Jags saturday.

Skylar did nothing last week. No Bills fan should be feeling the need to say he's good. He wasn't. 18/45 220 yards 40% completion % 1 td 2ints 4 sacks People who claim he was good must not have watched the game. Which is why the comments about us barely winning against a 3rd string qb are so dumb. We almost lost because of our own mistakes not Skylar's arm.

I know this game. The football gods aren't going to take pity on your faux self doubt and grant you with a win.

I can't see it being divisional, Jaguars, Bucs, Giants, Broncos all had theirs in 2022 or will play a different overseas game in 2023. Cowboys and Raiders are all thats left. My bet is the Raiders (2019) over the Cowboys (2014). Cowboys are due though but Jerry doesn't seem to allow his team to do this.

I am fine with that and the discussion in the other thread. It is the taking the roll call for me that pushes it over for me -

I don't think its wrong to consider what will happen with the Bills down the line. 30 years puts Terry Pegula at 101 and his wife Kim at 83. It is concerning that the stars may align for a purchase and relocation at the perfect time when the lease is expiring but it could also be renewed/extended before then. That said, I am not sure how this isn't the best deal for WNY. We make an investment and if they move we get our money back. The NFL/Buffalo Bills were never going to sign a "you can't ever move" contract.
-
Of course it was. I had preplanned obligations that I was hoping this game wouldn't be in this time slot before the schedule was announced. Was able to move those obligations from 2pm to 4pm thinking id just be a bit late. I have never needed the game to end at 4 before and the one time I do it lasts til what? 5pm?

I feel like this is one of those things we hype all week "The o line is terrible 3 starters out, its in shambles" and then we are left scratching our heads with 0 sacks and the qb having all the time in the world. So I am not assuming anything yet. Yes. Defense was phenomenal yesterday. The 3rd string 7th round QB had one drive all game that would have put them in field goal range (let alone TD) if the Offense/Special teams didn't give huge field advantage. Edit: I mean literally the guy had 8 drives of less than 10 yards. 11 drives less than 20 yards.
-
No but that plus the 75 yard drive equaling 10 points is well below the 16 points per game allowed by the best defense in the league let alone the 35 needed to beat the Bills. Throw in the other 4 pts from the td from the Bills 18 yard line after the INT if you want. Still only 14. The defensive performance was just not the problem this game.
-
We understand what you are posting. It just makes no sense. Most of the dolphins points came off of drives that were helped more by the Bills offense/special teams than the Bills defensive play. The proof of this is in the 9/10 other defensive drives, the defense held Miami hard allowing 59 TOTAL yards in those 9 drives combined. Or a spectacular 6.5 yards a DRIVE. Suffice to say the Bills offense and special teams gifting the ball with better field position had a direct impact on the Dolphins ability to score points. The one exception being the 75 yard drive the defense allowed for a TD towards the end.

Rules question: Illegal block to the back
What a Tuel replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall
There were like 10 missed block in the back calls. the 4th and 8 was particularly egregious though because Edmunds is in position to push him out of bounds but gets pushed from behind and the runner is just like ok, ill keep running then. FIRST DOWN!!! no comment from Romo or anyone. Found it around 5:17 in the "highlights": -
Chargers @ Jaguars Playoff Game Thread (i.e. NOT a Bills thread;-)
What a Tuel replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Its a gift to the Chiefs that the Bills did not have the opportunity to prove that they could be 14-3 too with a tie breaker win against the chiefs. Just like it is a gift to us that the Bengals did not have the opportunity to prove that they could get another win and have the 13-4 tie breaker over us to get the 2 seed. Ours is a little more egregious because not having to play a whole freaking game and getting a guaranteed ticket to the divisional is pretty big but at least we get to play the banged up dolphins. Either way its a gift to guarantee a trip to the AFCCG with a win over the Jags even if they legit won the 1st seed. They need to get rid of the bye week altogether. Hopefully when there is 18 game season and 8 playoff teams.
