  1. Maybe the front office but not the players. He would change the culture. Change the schemes to fit the players' style/strengths. Change the work ethic and attitude. He'd get his guys running SP, RBs, WRs, QBs, DBs, etc. But he could make our team hum with the current players. I'm positive.
  2. http://deadspin.com/the-patriots-can-win-with-anyone-1790035178 we are who we thought they have always been.
  3. Reality Headline: "The Bills Relatively Quiet on the Free Agency Market. Look to Grow Through Draft"
  4. After struggling to score all game, the Bills scored in 52 seconds. The Bills couldn't recover the onside kick and the game was over. "This game meant everything to the fans," "I feel like they deserve more than what we showed them today." "We had a chance to do something really special right here," "and we totally wasted it." The Bills were called for four penalties in the fourth quarter, upping their game total to 12 for 108 yards The Buffalo Bills spent 10 long weeks instilling hope in this city. Then they came out for the biggest game of their season and looked, well, utterly hopeless. THIS IS ALL FROM THE PITTSBURGH GAME 11 YEARS AGO. Sound familiar?
  5. Biggest concern: • Accuracy is all over the place, among the worst in the class at the most important ranges: six through 30 yards • Accuracy is poor on passes that lead receivers, either horizontally or vertically up the field • Does not always see underneath defenders, will make poor throws into coverage. • Timing is not great in the pass game, often late but his arm will make up for it • His big arm is irrelevant beyond 20 yards. Accuracy percentage of 46.9 percent ranked 17th in the draft class, but even many of his completions were underthrows with the wide receiver working back to make the play • Last year was similar, made a lot of big plays in the passing game but many of them were Devin Smith adjusting to poorly thrown passes Let's get him in there to see these things happen in real life instead of in bulleted list form.
  6. He’s definitely got potential, but at this point he’s a lot closer to a 3rd round prospect than a 1strounder in my opinion. I don’t think he processes information quickly enough to be a top college quarterback and eventual quality NFL starter, and unless his head catches up with his arm and his body he’s going to be a physically gifted quarterback who never put it together from the mental aspect of the game. Until he proves that his football IQ has improved and that he can read defenses well I’m not going to grade him in the top 64 picks EJ Manuel. Nailed it.
  7. "Asked whether he felt time was running out to prove to the Bills that they should pick up the contract option that would pay him $27.5 million in March." what kind of response did they think this was going to elicit? And when he dodged it, as he should have, they asked for more explanation. there's a difference between scrutiny and baiting.
  8. yeah i dont know why he said that. even the fans were wary. maybe as a reporter you can get too close to the team and buy into the swagger and hype.
  9. in case you have amnesia, here's some clean pocket INTs from the man, the myth, the legend: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap2000000294203/EJ-Manuel-throws-3rd-interception http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000564525/Bills-EJ-Manuel-picked-off-by-Jaguars-Paul-Posluszny http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000559466/Bengals-Darqueze-Dennard-picks-off-Bills-EJ-Manuel http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000564517/Jaguars-Telvin-Smith-picks-off-Bills-EJ-Manuel-for-a-pick-six
  10. i have to agree with vic. but really what are you agreeing with? what you've known the whole time? this team is average and has been for a while. you can't do anything without a good coach and a long-term solution at QB. i'm a tyrod fan and i still hope that he somehow gets the QB coaching and OC he needs to be effective. I just think it might be with another team.
  11. if we would've just not given him that contract we could've spent it on a QB who's almost 40 and injury prone! that's the sweet spot for our money! not tyrod! ps who the !@#$ is/was our guy to draft again?
  12. Let go of all the WRs. All.of.them. Woods will go somewhere, the rest will be signed by the Browns.
  13. guys dont come to buffalo to win, they come to buffalo to get paid. and now with the addition of a 'player's coach' things are even easier.
  14. if anything, this playoff drought has brought some epic threads. throw the Tyrod and Blood Sugar on the pile with http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/188813-we-needed-it-but-it-may-bite-us/
  15. my prediction: an all out Buffalo Bills ending to end all Buffalo Bills endings. We win all four, go 10-6, lose tie-breaker. or we give the Browns their only win. I'm deciding which is more Billsy.
  16. Rex still wants to chalk up a doesn't-tell-the-whole-story, inflated 9-7.
  17. i'm for cleaning house for the sake of cleaning house. you don't want to tie Brandon to the losses or team mistakes, but I'm also not tying him to any successes either. also, GET RID OF DAVID LEE.
  18. they scored one TD after we scored ours and another after our three and out. So two TDs, one three and out. excuses are excuses. you're not gassed TWO SERIES INTO THE SECOND HALF.
  19. came for people calling for EJ, was not disappointed.
  20. He couldn't stop the run for **** today. And those huge Carr throws into the teeth of the secondary. Where was he on those?!? I love how much of a pass the d gets.
  21. i hate this !@#$ing team
