  1. was it just the rush of typing a fatalistic title that made you even write this post?
  2. they were just strollin along minding their own business, tone deaf to the rumbling that was about to blindside them. then, bam! just like that: Hillary wins the popular vote by more than 1.5MM. what a foreboding gif, man. you nailed it.
  3. for friendsgiving it was first one to say hillary or trump has to chug a beer. we had to enforce it in the first 10 minutes.
  4. just once i'd like to hear a coach say we're going to take it two games at a time. really shows some gumption and fortitude. most teams can only handle one. step up to the plate, Rex! take on TWO GAMES. tell the media we're preparing both for the Jags AND the Raiders. Tell them we already have personnel in Oakland...just waiting.
  5. NOT ONLY MUST WE WIN, WE MUST WIN CONVINCINGLY ONLY VERSUS THE BESTEST TEAMS IN THE LAND!!!!!!!!!!! ONLY THE GREATEST OF VICTORIES WILL BE ACCEPTED WHEN DEALING WITH THE BILLS. IF WE DON'T RE-WRITE THE HISTORY BOOKS EVERY WEEK, POST AN UNDERCUTTING THREAD!!! THEY WILL KNOW FROM THE HEAVENS THAT WE DISAPPROVE OF LOSSES AND UNINSPIRING WINS!! THIS. IS. BUFFALO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ::kicks man into bottomless pit::
  6. let's be honest here: if you had this injury, you wouldn't leave your couch let alone go play an NFL game.
  7. I want to see EJ top his last performance and go for 4 turnovers for 4 Jag TDs in 4 minutes. It's a high bar, but this kid has the guts and instincts to get it done.
  8. i know for a fact that the Redskins are just dying to get rid of their QB to start the Colt McCoy era.
  9. Bills win a game really convincingly. Shut down the Bengals in all three phases. Gotta bring you back in to go for the Mid-Dec kill shot.
  10. Just be patient, dude. There have only be 18 different teams to go to the super bowl since our playoff drought. We're rebuilding!
  11. Season's Grievings! it's the time of year again. when the entire AFC controls our destiny. There's nothing else like it! What a breathtaking experience!
  12. you don't need a deep threat for big plays. YAC works too. brady throws drag routes to edelman who turns them into big plays.
  13. no surprise here Big pass plays being 25+ yards
  14. Rex doesn't see an issue vs have another option
  15. what a luxury, come up behind a "good" QB and then get shipped off to Buffalo where we don't know wtf we're doing. he's in his second full year and we treat him like a 6th year guy. we're so starved for a QB that no one gets a chance. i'm not even going to get into the fact that there is NO ONE to throw a ball to.
  16. winning seven games in a row throwing to 'my foot feels great until i have an average game, then in that case it's really bothering me' watkins, woods prone on the ground, harvin in the backfield ready to receive multiple fake reversi, and charles clay short-arming passes a foot over his head. get it done or else we move on to Romo!
  17. Technically he was right. We do have a game in january.
  18. I'll just leave this here: 2008 -- Broken right pinkie finger. He missed three games that ultimately cost the Cowboys a chance at making the playoffs. They went 1-2 without Romo and lost a winner-take-all season finale at the Philadelphia Eagles. After that game, Romo collapsed in the shower because of a rib injury. Entering this season Tony Romo had started 16 games in just four of his nine full seasons as the Dallas Cowboys' starter. Kirby Lee/USA TODAY Sports 2010 -- Broken left collarbone. He suffered the injury in the first half against the New York Giants when fullback Chris Gronkowski failed to pick up linebacker Michael Boley. Romo missed 10 games but was not placed on injured reserve until the second-to-last week of the season. The Cowboys went 5-5 in Romo's absence with Jon Kitna winning four times and Stephen McGee once. 2013 -- Ruptured disk. Romo missed a winner-take-all meeting in Week 17 against the Eagles after undergoing a discectomy two days before the game. Romo actually suffered the injury in a thrilling 24-23 win against the Washington Redskins in which he delivered the game-winning touchdown pass on fourth down. With Kyle Orton starting, the Cowboys lost to the Eagles 24-22. 2014 -- Two transverse process fractures. He missed the Nov. 2 meeting against the Arizona Cardinals after he was kneed in the back by Washington linebacker Keenan Robinson. He returned for the final two series after X-rays were negative. Brandon Weeden started against the Cardinals, and the Cowboys lost 28-17. 2015 -- Broken left collarbone. Romo suffered the injury in the second game of the season when he was sacked by Eagles linebacker Jordan Hicks, who landed on top of him in the third quarter. The Cowboys beat Philadelphia but lost the next seven games with Weeden and Matt Cassel as their starting quarterbacks. 2015 -- Broken left collarbone. In his second game back, Romo was knocked out on the final play of the third quarter, when he was sacked by Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis. While Romo's previous fractures had healed, he suffered a re-break in the healed portion. He missed the final five games of the season. The Cowboys won just once (at Washington) without Romo all season. 2016 -- Compression fracture, L1 vertebra. On the third play of Thursday's preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks, Romo was driven into the turf while sliding by defensive end Cliff Avril. After the game, Romo said he felt good and Jerry Jones said he expected Romo to be ready for the regular-season opener. Romo had an MRI on Friday, which showed the break. A source said he is looking at a 6-10 week recovery period. Rookie Dak Prescott will start in Romo's absence.
  19. they probably do. we're just closer to the Bills. quick example: Look at the pats trading Collins to the browns for 'lack of consistent effort'.
  20. the guaranteed money in contracts nowadays + the risk of long-term serious injuries=less reason to compete. if i can get paid millions, hang around for a couple years, avoid the field as much as possible and walk away at 26, i'd do it 10/10 times.
  21. http://deadspin.com/pete-carroll-was-not-impressed-by-patriots-fans-1788994438 "It's not a great place" Lived in Boston, his whole assessment is spot on. They're the worst type of fan: entitled, aloof, and defensive.
