  1. Somehow you only have 22 posts, but it feels like 1,000.
  2. it's a lot easier when you're judge, jury and executioner.
  3. also when you said 'anything is possible' all i could think of was:
  4. Dude! glad you took my advice! You're killing it lately. This place needed a prophetic, hard-hitting poster to just tell it like it is. You're saying what everything else is afraid to say. And there are so many up and coming young QBs that teams are just trying to unload off their payroll, it's ridiculous. I don't mean to double down for you, but i would say trade marcel and TWO first round picks for Phillip Rivers. Anything is possible!
  5. than virtually every NFL QB, except our back-up. Weight: 249lbs Height: 6' 5 40 yd dash: 4.81 STRENGTHS Great size to see over offensive line and bulk to withstand NFL hits. Pocket passer with as much arm as you need. Generates very good velocity without having to get feet set. Can rip it into tight quarters, challenge field-side cornerbacks and attack safeties over the top. Almost 11 percent of his pass attempts were 20-plus yard completions. Completed 59 percent of intermediate throws and 41 percent of deep throws. Touch and ball placement on long ball is pro caliber. Can drop feathery, touch throws on fade routes. Has size, athleticism and toughness to call his own number in run game and is a chain mover as a scrambler. Interceptions generally due to overthrows and poor timing over bad decision-making. Though not yet a strength, did show ability to get through progressions and find third option. Weight 238lbs Height: 6' 5 40 yd dash: 4.65 STRENGTHSPhysically imposing passer. Throws from the shotgun formation quite often, but is also effective on play action. Flashes the velocity to stretch the field and throw in tight spaces between defenders and on the sideline. Displays good touch on throws to each level of the field, finds receivers between defenders and drop passes over their head. Good athlete with the mobility to step up in the pocket to avoid pressure and take advantage of openings to pick up first downs with his feet. Quick release, though it often looks as though he's throwing darts on shorter throws. Intelligent, high character team leader.
  6. Not likely. This is what we're pinning our future on? It's so Buffalo,
  7. learning the game from the sidelines.
  8. Get over it, losers!!! You're kidding, right? The guy continues to !@#$ up. And we continue to pay him gobs of money. The injury may not be his fault, but it's par for the course.
  9. you're right, he deserved some time off. take a breather, fly to Cleveland, catch the World Series, fly back to Buffalo just in time to fly to Seattle to sleepwalk the Bills through another MNF loss. You can kowtow to this BS all you want, but if you don't think he sets a precedent for how his players behave, you're out of your mind. When you accept mediocrity, you get mediocrity.
  10. There's a lot of talk about the Russell Wilson factor, but is anyone talking about how they're ranked 29th in PPG and we're 8th?
  11. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/rex-ryan-criticized-for-attending-sons-game-at-clemson-on-cut-day/ http://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2015/11/rex_ryan_will_be_at_carrier_dome_to_watch_his_son_and_clemson_take_on_syracuse.html also, jack del rio (6-2). do whatever you want. It's just like a real job. if i'm underperforming and have a history of underperforming and i'm taking work off to go do other things, it looks really bad. if i'm doing well and performing at my peak and go off during work to do other things, no one is questioning it.
  12. i think my biggest issue is that we watch docs and hear about the work cycles of coaches during the NFL season. Their families say they don't see them, they sleep on couches at the facilities, they eat-sleep-breathe football. and then i just see rex NOT doing those things with a .500 (soon to be 4-5 team). it's a four-month long season. take a break from the other sporting events in your life to maybe worry about your team.
  13. yeah this is dumb. i mean where were they after they started 0-2 and fired Roman? Probably working hard to game plan for the upcoming wee- oh.
  14. Yeah he was also at the Clemson game. Lots of focus this season.
  15. What about Will Hill? I know, i know drug suspension issues, but he's clear to play after week 10. We could have him after the bye.
  16. i keep running the scenarios through my head of which crippling ending the Bills will choose for us. In my mind, it comes down to the big three: Win some big uplifting games vs good opponents, subsequently lose vs very winnable teams (JAX/CLE). Split some losses and wins on their way to a week 17 where we need two teams to win and us to win. Two teams win and we lose. Lose big early (next two), change QB or coach or something, winning streak at the end that leaves them just short of the playoffs by one win (talk about previous losses and which one could've gotten us into the playoffs if we would've just hit that FG, run the ball, not thrown that INT, called timeout).
  17. how much of his inconsistency is not having a working rapport with these replacement WRs? He's had a rotating cast of WRs and you're not really sure who is going to play what week. And, here comes Harvin to add to that.
  18. "can you stand by your love, after push, push comes to shove can you stand by your man after ****, **** hits the fan"
  19. at this point, i'm convinced Kirkwoodus13 is some type of performance art. but for whom? and why?
  20. MNF performances during the playoff vacation: Dec. 11, 2000: Bills 20 at Colts 44 (L) Oct. 8, 2007: Cowboys 25 at Bills 24 (L) Nov. 17, 2008: Browns 29 at Bills 27 (L) Sep. 14, 2009: Bills 24 at Patriots 25 (L)
  21. i look to the past to predict the future. 2015: KC L (winnable game) HOU W (beat a "playoff" team) PHI L (winnable game) WASH L (winnable game) DAL W (beat a team they should beat) Jets W (season was over) I'm predicting the same pattern: @ Seattle L (good team; loss inevitable) Bye @ Cincinnati L (winnable game) Jax W (win vs team they should beat) @ Oakland: W (will beat a playoff team) Pittsburgh: L (close loss in a winnable game) Cleveland: L (winnable game) Miami: L (winnable game) @ Jets W (season is already over) 7-9
  22. Based on my 2015 studies if you have 5 unforced QB errors or less during a game your odds of winning are solid. Do you, by any chance, know what the winning percentage is of 5 or fewer QB errors?
  23. welcome to the boards! let me show you around. if you hit your back button, you'll be taken to the Stadium Wall. This is where we **** on current Bills players, potential Bills players, former Bills players, and other teams' players that we feel don't meet the high standards we've set in Orchard Park (Brady (cry baby), Cam Newton (cry baby), Josh Gordon (drug abuser, potential Bills WR). You get the idea. Also, feel free to just start a thread on anything that pops into your head. stream of consciousness is the easiest and most preferred writing style around here. ditch the periods, ditch the commas, just projectile vomit your opinions directly on the boards. use partial stats and gifs from a Kansas City game in 2012 to prove your point. never compromise. if all else fails, resort to indefensible ad hominem attacks.
