  1. So you're asking us to: Find a 1st/2nd rd QB Find a 1st/2nd rd WR Find a second-tier replacement for Woods Find a DB1 replacement for Gilmore Pray and then find a Safety replacement for Williams Find a life coach for Dareus Got it.
  2. I hope he chooses to stay. Could be a top-5 QB next year now that Powell and Tate will have another year under their belt, and he finally has some crotch chemistry with Groy.
  3. do the right thing Buffalo: get rid of TT, draft a QB first round, let Cardale start this year, Cardale will go 7-9, get the rookie up to speed, put him in, he'll go 6-10 but he's just a rookie so give him another chance, he will then go 8-8, then in 2020 we realize we need to trade for the bones of Sam Bradford, bones will subsequently go 10-6 just a game short of the wild card.
  4. thread title re-write: Bills will have only a two-day window to trade Tyrod in March.
  5. Bad schedule. Let's roll the dice with cardale next year. And then when we get another schedule we think is bad, let's fight between giving cardale another year or rolling the dice with a rookie. And then let's continue to roll the dice every year. I'm confident we can get the playoff drought up to 20 years.
  6. DO NOT re-sign him. Take that money give it to Romo. When Tony gets here, all of our troubles will go away. He can see the middle of the field and he will hit Walter Powell in STRIDE. Tony will also fill the gap at strong safety. We can pay Tony a little more to help us install a 4-3 defense and keep Kyle Williams from retiring. It's a steal when you do the math.
  7. i won't say scripted, because that's kind of impossible. But I will say, that PI flag at the end helped nicely.
  8. Pick him up, keep the other 3 current QBs, pick up two more in the draft and have a 6-QB hungry-games-style training camp.
  9. Pats still win this seasons Super Bowl even if they didn't have [fill in any player aside from Brady]. End of story.
  10. He hasn't played a full season since 2014. so three years without a real workload and he still lost out to a rookie. it's a dumb idea, but it's also a super Billsy idea, which is why i'm not surprised people on here are supporting it. don't look for a long-term solution, pick up someone else's short-term scraps, pay him too much, and hope that he someone can now play in bad weather with a sub-par WR corp after being off for three years. so much goodness in that idea.
  11. what bothers me more is that the Bills are even showing interest in this. I mean, Romo's not coming here that's obvious. But, the fact that you looked around and thought yeah, we need that ailing, aging quarterback to come in here, get paid way too much and potentially get hurt, all so we can get our asses kicked in a wild card weekend at Denver. How is that a strategy?
  12. Good catch. Must've been looking at jets jan 3 game from 2016.
  13. PAST PERFORMANCE DOES NOT GUARANTEE FUTURE RESULTS. Let's pretend it's Jan 2016. We look at our upcoming 2016-2017 schedule against 2015's records. 2015 record 2016 results Pats (12-4): W, L Jets (10-6): L, W Miami (6-10): L, L Cinci (12-4) W Pitt (10-6) L Balt (5-11) L Cleve (3-13) W Cards (13-3) W Sea (10-6) L LA (7-9) W SF (5-11) W Jags (5-11) W Raiders (7-9) L We beat previous 13-3, 12-4 (Brady-less), 12-4, and 10-6 teams. We lost to previous 7-9, 5-11, and 6-10 (twice) teams. There's no way to accurately predict any of this from the previous year. Too many variables. So you look at the 2017 schedule and what? You know that OAK is going to be good again? That DEN isn't just a middling 9-7 team without a QB? That the LA Chargers are going to do ANYTHING? That anyone in the NFC South isn't a one-year fluke (CAR, ATL). Btw, ATL pulled a NE by beating down a weak division (5-1 in the NFC S) to a first rd bye and home field.
  14. you've got me excited about Trubinsky now! damnit!
  15. Or we could just argue about feasible scenarios. Three-round mock draft: Deshaun Watson goes No. 1 to Browns http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000778266/article/threeround-mock-draft-deshaun-watson-goes-no-1-to-browns
  16. Josh McDaniels went from defensive assistant to QB coach in 2004. He's listed as 6' 1. is that right? If so, he's an inch shorter than a.rodgers
  17. This is the equivalent of saying watch how much better this race car driver performs when he steps out of a Ford Taurus and into a Ferrari.
  18. oh, no i'm not dismissing them wearing jerseys. that's the only attire there: Boston sports team jerseys.
  19. This isn't new. I lived in Boston in 2011, and guys were leaving work on the Friday before the SB and talking about plans like it was week 5. No enthusiasm. Just yeah i'll probably just catch it at home or the bar.
  20. Didn't it used to be Bruce? Maybe we should go with a collage of awesomely bad Bills.
  21. pros: track-star speed, deep ball threat, can run go route effectively, great hands in practice, available in 12th round of most fantasy drafts, made six-yard catch vs a future Super Bowl contender. cons: did not qualify for olympics, made from fine china, can only run go route.
  22. who do you think belichick has his eye on in the 1st round that he's willing to part ways with Jimmy? My guess is NOT a QB or WR.
