  1. Listen Gabe, you were a good dude but it’s over. Josh got you your bag, go enjoy it. We both know if you sign here, you are going to drop your first important pass then roll that glass ankle you have and gimp around for 16 weeks. Thanks for the KC memories
  2. You can tell how much the Bills value character and personality when they are making these selections. Sure pure talent is probably more important than character in terms of winning the SB, but it sure makes it easy to root for these kids. I know it’s only an edited snapshot but I think you can tell something from these videos.
  3. I’m willing to give Dalton year 3 before I draw any conclusions. He was pretty banged up last year and had a very good rookie season. I doubt he’s been able to put on much weight if any while recovering from the PCL. To you guys who say you were at 5% bodyfat, post your stage pics. That’s a professional bodybuilders level of lean. The amount of time/training/cardio/calorie restriction that takes is beyond 99% of the population. Getting to around 10% is doable if you are strict. Getting from 10-5% is a whole nother level of pain.
  4. There is more intelligent football conversation in a TBD nickname thread than there is on any WGR show. All of those hosts, especially Jeremy and Joe, display below average football intelligence. I have no problem with Beane calling them out even though I’d prefer he had taken a higher road. His best line was reminding them they wanted Josh Rosen over Josh Allen, that was laugh out loud funny. Buffalo sports media is pure amateur hour. You get a ton better intelligent content from the many podcasters that cover the Bills, but I guess that’s part of the radio schtick. As for Coleman, JFC give the guy a chance. No one on here saw the emergence of Bernard after we let Edmunds walk. This place was apoplectic after the draft when we didn’t snag a MLB early. We draft for character. I expect Coleman heard when Beane called him out after he played like crap post injury. It’s a maturity thing. I expect we will see a much better Coleman this season but idk if that will justify passing on Ladd.
  5. You will not ruin my feel good overly sentimental opinion with your logical, reasonable and probably correct take
  6. HOW CAN ANYONE NOT LOVE THIS?? It’s Tre Mother F’n White! The Prodigal Son returns! I don’t care if he’s washed, I’ll waste a roster spot on him just because he’s that good of a dude. Ok now seriously, a 75% Tre locks down that #2 spot and he’s better than Dane Jackson. I think he looked decent with the Ravens. Not the Tre of old, he’s never coming back, but not the Toast Tre with the Rams either. At worst, he’s a solid backup, beloved franchise player, and mentor to whatever young DB we draft. At best, he gets to 80% of old Tre and is a solid #2 CB for the year while whatever draft pick gets up to speed. I smiled ear to ear when this came across my feed. The roar at the Ralph when he comes out of the tunnel will be deafening! Sometimes a feel good move also is the right move for the team. I think this is one of them. Tre White Goalie Academy is back in session! Love it!
  7. This is all posturing on both sides and something will get done. I think a lot of fans still suffer from Post Diggs Drama Syndrome and James hit a raw nerve with his social media BS. Buffalo has all the leverage, and unless James uses his idiot brother Dalvin as his agent, he will understand that. He has an opportunity to get a guaranteed amount of generational wealth now with a team that wants him. Beane isn’t going to lowball him, he’s going to give him a reasonable contract for a very good 2 down back who can’t pass block. Unless James wants to risk playing out the last year of his contract and a potential injury that will cost him 10s of millions, he’ll meet Beane in the middle and sign a reasonable contract.
  8. I have no ill will towards Stef. He was a big help in the accelerated development of a raw Joshua F’n Allen. Yeah, he became a cancer so bad that Beane took a 31 million dead cap hit to get rid of him, but we actually got a 2nd which I thought was nuts. Now he goes to the Pat* with a bum wheel, takes a crap ton of their money, and who knows when he will be up to speed. Good for him. I don’t think he will be a cancer in NE, he just won’t live up to that contract and he will be gone after 2. It will be interesting to see how Drake develops. He looked good as a rookie but so did CJ Stroud. Now that teams have a year of tape on him they will take away what he likes to do. We will see how he responds.
  9. Uh, no. I love Ty in his role, but he’s not close to Freddie
  10. I like James. He’s a good not great back because he can’t pass block. He’s probably worth 10-12 mil/yr for 3 years to the Bills. If he doesn’t like that, run him into the ground in 2025, let him walk, get a comp pick.
  11. I liked the trade for Amari. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that our offense opened up and improved after he got here. His lack of production was disappointing. I think it’s a combo of a broken wrist and Brady not really setting up the downfield passing game. We played the short, intermediate game and then every once in a while it was WR go deep. I’d take him back on a cheap deal, but I really think we need a burner who can catch on the outside. We’ve got plenty of guys who can’t separate.
  12. Eh, more of a bad look for the team than a huge impact. It sucks and makes Beane look stupid but I’m not too concerned about the impact on the D. We aren’t fixing that defense in a year, especially that D-line. We’ve got 2 pretty good guys (Oliver, Rousseau), 1 potential game changer in Bossa if he doesn’t stub his toe, and a bunch of jags. LB is pretty good. Jackson sets the floor at CB. Safeties are a big question mark. That’s not a SB winning defense. There’s a lot of time between now and September. I expect Beane isn’t done yet.
  13. I can’t believe anyone here really thought Cinci was going to trade us Hendrickson. That’s looney tunes. It’s a good signing. Risky, sure, but it’s only a one year deal and it’s not your money. It doesn’t stop us from drafting a DE, but it takes the pressure off of reaching early. Who else out there who was realistically available did people want? Not Garrett, not Crosby, not Hendrickson. Sweat? Meh.
  14. Neither Knox or Kincaid are top TEs. Knox is solid but gets paid llke he’s a top TE. Kincaid had a good rookie season then sucked last year. I hope injuries are the reason and I’ll give him a Mulligan because he did flash a lot of potential his first year. I think Beane and McD have both made it clear they need him to get bigger and stronger. They are seeing the same things we are. If Kincaid takes it to heart and works his ass off this off season, I think he can bounce back. Knox you have to keep because of his blocking ability and Kincaid’s regression. I’m cautiously optimistic these guys can be better contributors next year.
  15. Rousseau sucked in the AFC Championship game. He’d been setting the edge all year and he gave it up at least 5x in the AFCCG including Mahomes TD. I don’t care if you didn’t see it on film, after the first 2 times Reid baited your ass inside you should have learned. I can’t believe how often he gave that edge up. So I’m in the let him play out his 5th year camp. If he explodes, we pay the man. Otherwise it’s another Tremaine Edmunds dump and hopefully we get a good comp pick. We can’t keep running back the same D-line that is the reason we get bounced out of the playoffs every single year.
  16. You can never have too many old, injury prone, over paid defensive ends! Super Bowl.
  17. Did I read that correctly? You think Bernard is an all pro level player? He’s a solid LB but not anywhere near close to all pro, especially this year. I think we need a game changing defensive tackle before Edge. The problem is no one is giving up those guys, so we might have to swing at DE. The game is changing where the best QBs are getting the ball out faster than ever which limits the impact an edge can have. A game wrecker up the middle is where we need to get to. DT, CB, Safety, DE. Lots of needs going into next season.
  18. The defense is garbage. They only look good when Josh gets us a lead and they can just concentrate on stopping the pass. Can someone tell me what the hell Groot was doing rushing inside and losing contain on Mahomes at LEAST 5 times including the TD? We’d been playing contain all year, and very effective at it. What the hell goes through a dudes mind when facing the best QB in football who always uses his legs more in the post season? How after he lost contain the first time was McD not in his ear saying “I don’t care what you do but you better not lose that edge again or I’m playing Solomon all game” I don’t mean to pick on just Groot, the entire D sucked and Babitch got destroyed (although I think he was forced to play man because Elam is such an idiot that after 3 years he can’t figure out zone concepts).
  19. Brady got destroyed. That game plan was absolute ass, especially in the first half. I’ll never understand how we didn’t come out with 6 o lineman and start pounding the rock. I don’t care if they expected it, we drove it down the throats of both Denver and Ravens. We needed to come out and smack them in the mouth physically. Instead, we played their type of finesse game while our QB looked like he hit a mountain of coke pre game. Brilliant strategy. I’m disgusted
  20. How the HELL does Brady come out throwing the ball on the first couple drives? What the hell was he thinking? That’s outright coaching malpractice not to line up and start pummeling them with our O-line from the first snap. You know what would have helped Josh besides running the ball early? A couple dink and dunk throws just to get the jitters out and start to get him in rhythm. Brady absolutely sht the bed in the first half. Spags ran circles around him for the majority of the game. We have an offense that finally didn’t need Josh to be perfect to succeed and what does Brady do? Put him in a position where he needs to be perfect to succeed. Completely asinine play calling throughout the game but especially first half. Spags DEMOLISHED Brady. They were ready for everything and it was only Josh making some ridiculous tight window throws that kept us in the game. I’m livid that the coaching disparity was so apparent. It wasn’t even close. Reid and Spags took us to the woodshed like they do every post season.
  21. No way. You don’t just come off the couch in game shape. He’d be gassed by the second quarter. Once we didn’t bring Micah up for the last NE game there was zero chance he was playing this post season.
  22. This is going to be very similar to the Ravens game. Our O-line is dominating. KC’s rush D has been porous lately. Their secondary is their strength with Watson/McDuffie and solid safeties. We are going run heavily, throw to RBs, Hopefully use our TEs because KC can’t cover TEs, and target Shakir a lot. Only if KC throws everyone in the box and plays 1 high will we start tossing it outside.
  23. I haven’t read the whole thread but this idea that we went conservative in the 3rd quarter is BS. We played a tight, conservative game the whole game. That was the plan. The difference in the 3rd quarter was execution. The plays were there to be made. On the first series, Kincaid was wide open and Allen threw a bad pass. Yeah, Kincaid should have caught it but that pass was ass for a guy who was WIDE OPEN On the 2nd series, Allen correctly alerted to the Knox screen. Why Knox was the target IDK, but that was the alert call in the huddle. Ravens were blitzing from that side. Knox screwed it up by running inside when he had blockers to the outside. Also, no one blocked Van Noy from the opposite side of the line. Poor execution. If you watched Hard Knox, the Ravens game plan was to take away the intermediate to deep passes and “plastering” the receivers on scrambles. They ran a LOT of Tampa 2 and Cover 3 (According to Marino and Cover 1) which basically doubles both your outside receivers. So where’s the beef? With the run game and short passes over the middle which is where we went. It was the perfect game specific game plan and it worked. Yeah, with a few better play calls and better execution it would have been a blow out but it wasn’t. Who cares. We are in the AFC Championship game. Everyone saying “we need to open it up” doesn’t understand the offensive philosophy. You take what the defense gives you. If KC loads the box you can bet we will look to throw it more. If we needed to, Josh would have opened it up against the Ravens. He never needed to because we were playing ball control especially in the 4th with a lead. Yeah, it got too close for comfort but we were playing probably the most talented team in the AFC who was peaking at the right time and we won.
  24. Actually the hip is one of the last places you want to inject corticosteroids and it has very limited efficacy. There is no quick fix especially if he damaged the labrum. If he did that, his season is over. He got carted off the field, hasn’t practiced since and I doubt he plays. Hopefully he’ll be ready for the Super Bowl if we beat KC.
