A conservative shouldn't have any particular qualms with pot being legal. Yes, there are downsides both long and short term, but not so much that the cost to the individual or society outweigh the cost of enforcement.

Summers was great today. EJ got better as the game went on. His first 4 or 5 passes were atrocious. After that, he got better. No offense, but you don't get to define what constitutes a true fan.

We met him on the flight back to Buffalo this morning. Seemed nice enough. Funny because he acted despondent about the whole thing and it made me think he might be more of a fan than he lets on in his column.

You're choosing to ignore the point. Hundreds of thousands (yes hundreds of thousands) of people are blacked out who either live more than 100 miles away (don't believe me? Google the populations of Syracuse, Utica, Rome, etc.) or have health issues, etc. You keep saying those who "choose" not to go, but for many it isn't a viable choice. Funny, that didn't seem at all like the point you were trying to make originally. Also, lets again not forget the elderly, the infirm, and all manner of others who live near Buffalo, but cannot go to the game for a variety of reasons, and yet still pay taxes that help fund the operation. No, it's just easier to declare "go to the game you lazy cheap fat ass blah blah LoL...".

Aside from the one drop and maybe a penalty, I don't recall Chandler being bad yesterday. Average maybe, but not bad. Of course I was at the game, and it can be difficult to evaluate someone without the benefit of being able to see it on TV. Did I miss something in his performance?

In addition to the preposterous actual range of the blackout as you've noted, there are a non-trivial amount of people that simply cannot attend the game for a variety of legitimate reasons. People whose tax dollars have funded the Bills being here. In short, I think any pro-sports organization that rely's on public funding should not be blacked out.

Big Tree Inn next to stadium in OP (one of my personal favorites as the likelihood of seeing a former Bill on a Saturday before a home game is very high) Danny's South next to stadium in OP Buffalo Wild Wings in Hamburg Duffs in Orchard Park Mamosers in Hamburg Rockpile in Orchard Park (although I'm not too certain if it's open again or not) Tailgaters and O'Neils (also right next to stadium in OP) All have sufficient TV's for watching college football, although not all of them are technically "sports bars".
