  1. So the WGR afternoon crew thinks KB is "not great", "will probably not make the team better" and that the Bills may have overpaid. They simultaneously are excited for Buffalo and the fans.
  2. Hoculi has syphilis dementia.
  3. To be fair it wasn't in public but rather during a closed door meeting. Probably no different that what any exec says in the board room about any union. edit: please note that isn't commentary on it being appropriate or not, rather just noting I don't believe it to be outside the norm.
  4. It's never lost it's luster for me...
  5. Seriously. My wife and are foodies, and the backlog of restaurants on our list is growing faster that our schedules can accommodate. I'm a transplant - I'm not originally from WNY (I moved here in '96) but I've seen the region on an upswing relative to culture, restaurants, etc. that wasn't prevalent even as little as 10 years ago. If you're still thinking about the area through the lens of 2002, I can get why this may be the sentiment.
  6. . Agreed. People that say there is nothing to do here and cite lack of dining and theater as examples clearly haven't been here in a while. It's a small City so obviously there are going to be less options, but they exist in such a number and variety that you'll not be bored if you really are looking. I suspect Ritchie was in fact referring to a Miami style nightlife which we don't have.
  7. What kind of jerk breaks his back? Selfish ahole.
  8. Nothing shows respect for the flag/anthem like shouting at someone about their lack if disrespect while it's playing. Like those jackasses that yell at people about wearing hats. Yeah that hat is somehow less respectful than your drunken ass shouting.
  9. Some might say it's a false equivalency, but if i were to burn a religious text in opposition to violence, it would probably tick off a bunch of people. Even if i were to say "hey it's not about saying religion is bad, but rather that violence driven by religious beliefs" people would still be upset, and we'd probably say it was completely understandable. So while I support their right to do so, it's dumbfounding when people try and act as though people who are offended shouldn't be. And let's be clear if Kaep didn't think people would be offended, he wouldn't have done it. It was literally his intent to offend people, otherwise there would be nothing newsworthy about it (just like when he;s out there doing charitable acts, it's barely covered). And for the record I don't really give a hoot. Like you, I'm just tired of hearing about it.
  10. Just watching the Rams highlights. Goff was making throws that Tyrod doesn't. Any WR would do better. Note - I'm not a Tyrod hater. I've always felt he was good enough, but I'm starting to rethink.
  11. When the BN went full-on paywall for sports news, I stopped reading. If I thought it was valuable enough, I'd pay. Simple decision really.
  12. Great post overall. I have to agree with others regarding Tyrod though. I'm convinced the All 22 will show a bunch of missed opportunities.
  13. bull **** call. I'm watching the Denver/Dallas game and they herald Bryant for doing the same thing. Call it consistently (see Bryant, Gronk, etc.) or don't call it at all.
  14. I wish I could, but it's very specific to the point that saying anything more would be too much. If you don't like it, oh well.
  15. I've not commented on any Darius threads for the last few years, mostly because I have some knowledge that could get a person or two in hot water. I can't remain entirely silent on the matter anymore. While I won't divulge what I know or from whom I can assure you all that he makes very bad decisions and rolls with some people that are shady AF. I know some people will doubt this, and rightly so given the lack of details, sources, etc. But I trust the info I've been given. The dude is a goddam **** head.
  16. Def. Hammer's lot.
  17. Always the best! Thanks Astro!!!
  18. I can't believe no one else joined in for singing Happy Birthday. Savages.
  19. Top notch as always. Thanks Astro!
  20. ... I'll eat my hat. And I like both guys, but I can't pin their shortcomings (EJ specifically, I've seen almost nothing of Cardale) entirely on bad coaching. Probably just not NFL starters.
  21. Hot damn I've been waiting for this post since January. Thanks Astro!
  22. I'll take 2 excellent camp reports!
  23. PBR was actually really popular with the hipsters for a few years. But as with any fad, they drank it because it was cool, not because it's a halfway decent cheap beer.
