  1. I don't think this was about any axes to grind, but rather the OP noting that the data implied we had high concession costs relative to most other teams, which seemed surprising. Also, the hot dogs suck.
  2. Not sure how the hot dogs at other venues rate, but the ones they serve at RWS are complete garbage. Small dried out dogs on stale (often very hard) rolls. Pretty sure DNC/JJ are laughing all the way to the bank.
  3. Looks like we're middle of the pack when it comes to hot dogs. Average is 5.50, which is where we are: http://www.statista.com/statistics/240017/price-of-a-hot-dog-in-the-national-football-league-by-team/ Beer prices however have us tied for 3rd most expensive. Presumably they assume you'll have more beers than hot dogs, so I guess it's not too surprising we came in at 6. http://www.statista.com/statistics/240015/price-of-a-beer-in-the-national-football-league-by-team/
  4. Anyone care to summarize for those of us who can't listen?
  5. Ha! Never thought of that, but it would have been worth a try. At least if it didn't work I'd have a Brady jersey to dress up a mannequin and burn him in effigy.
  6. Pretty much every time I buy a jersey, the player leaves within a year. Poz, Whitner, Fitz, Morris (yeah that's right - Sammy Morris! ) etc. So if there is anyone you'd like to ensure isn't on the roster next year, convince me to buy their jersey.
  7. That would be pretty cool if it was Fitz.
  8. It's a fun hangout. Can get packed for home games but it's a good crowd.
  9. A caller on WGR the other day referred to Rex as "the jerk whisperer".
  10. Can anyone listening give an overview for those of us without access to radio, streaming, etc? Thanks!
  11. Bring some Soju when you come back for a tailgate!
  12. SJF is probably the optimal location (and I say this as a Fredonia alum) but they need to nix the bus. I'm a goddam adult and want to come and go on my on schedule and not be crammed into some sweltering yellow box with a bunch of other people.
  13. Oy vey! I also wonder how TG will react to Pegula's assertion that the Polian thing was blown out of proportion. Wasn't TG the one reporting on most of that?
  14. What did Sully ask?
  15. The Koran is full of contradictions. There is literally no consistent way to interpret. It's full,of what could be considered hate speech, and those who use it to justify violence and oppression are by no means statistical outliers. Same with basically every religious text (the Old Testament allowed for what was effectively genocide).
  16. I'm gonna laugh my ass off if the music stops and Marrone is left standing with no chair.
  17. That could have been one of many things. It seems to me that neither are necessarily exclusive of each other. The premise of the OP is plausible, even if there isn't much to support it.
  18. Sorry bad link. But it's an article from Matt Fairburn (sp?) about Marrone bad mouthing the org to Polian after he quit. I'm on mobile otherwise id fix the link, but the article can be found easily,
  19. http://photos.syracuse.com/4456/gallery/buffalo_bills_coach_doug_marrone_1/index.html
  20. Correction; He had a damn good second year too (9 TD's and almost 1000 yards) with stats almost on par with his rookie campaign.
  21. I just went back and watched it. Interestingly enough, Marrone barely appears in the video, and when he does, he doesn't look happy. Furthermore, when the room is shown applauding the pick, Marrone seemed to be absent, in that the seat he had been occupying was empty.
  22. Did he actually say annihilated or blown out? Because I can at least understand the position of wanting to lose from getting a slightly better 2nd round pick, but why would you want them blown out?
  23. My friend said it was during training camp.
  24. Funny, a day before this article came out, a friend related to me how Marrone had screamed at the marketing department for putting a video on the Bills website without his approval. I half dismissed it (even though my guy tends to be accurate). Now it's been basically confirmed by this article. It also reminds me of a conversation I had with another low level OBD employee prior to the Lions preseason game. Without specifically naming Marrone, he said that Gailey was missed and now people walked around on eggshells. He described the vibe as being tense. Good riddance.
