Participation trophies/medals are just souvenirs. That's their sentimental value. People/kids don't actual think they accomplished something, but we keep them to remind us that we got off the couch that one time... Since those problems occur across class lines, it's clearly an education problem. I always found it ridiculous that 25% of my college credits had to be in the humanities, but those liberal arts kids didn't have to take any math/science classes. It's more important to spot a metaphor than to balance a budget.

1)He put children in chicken coops and sent their parents back to die in their home countries. 1)He killed us all (eventually)by pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement. 1)His tweets create terrorists. 1)His very existence causes criminals to commit crimes 1)He continues to be orange. -
How Often Do You Go To The Movies?
unbillievable replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I go about 2-3 times a month. You need to see Aquaman in the theater. It's the best visual effects I've ever seen. Better than Avatar. Much better than Star Wars. Unfortunately, the story is pretty standard. -

After doing a rough estimation where you convert the scores to pre-2005 then again to pre-90's,... it roughly translates to 1100 The SAT's have gotten a lot easier multiple times. Edit: SAT switched back from 2400 to 1600 and made the essay portions optional in 2017. It's difficult to judge scores because of the recent changes. To put it in perspective, It's a score in the 70th percentile. -

Replace "companies" with a political party and you can stick this thread in PPP -
Apple spent money researching, and producing custom screws that break easily and requires special tools to remove. Imagine owning a car where the dealership has the only set of keys to open your hood and gas cap, because they think you're too stupid to pump your own gas or change your oil, then realize there is a large group of consumers out there who think they're better than the rest of us because we want to get our hands dirty doing something so simple ourselves.

Don't hop on to the Apple train. You'll get stuck buying nothing but over-priced junk, that looks pretty, after that first present. You're talking about a company that tried to sue independent repair shops for copyright infringement. They literally glue battery and memory cards to their boards so you can't replace it yourself. They intentional wrap the antennae around the case so it breaks if you try to open it.

Eliminate all government taxes. Every government program must be put on the ballot. Charge $1 per vote. Unlimited amount of votes. Open to any person in the world via internet transaction. Money generated will fund that specific program only.
