  1. If nothing else, this SNAP controversy opened my eyes to money wasted on this program. I never realized that the average benefit spends 5X more than I budget for food per month.
  2. I have no reason to believe that New Jersey will vote for a Republican. The race being this close is a shock.
  3. Will this trend continue when Democrats inevitably return to power? Can the GOP hinder a Dem President with never-ending injunctions? I will give credit to the left, they found a loophole in the system, when they figured out that it was possible to flood the country with more illegal aliens than the court system can possibly process. Much like the looting flash mobs they perfected during the Summer of Love.
  4. The reason I identify as independent is because I know that no one will be held accountable for any of these findings.
  5. The shutdown is popular with Democrat voters. It's short-sighted because its unpopular with everyone else, but it helps them in blue states.
  6. Is there a food drive on Saturday to save all these people from starving? I have a can of creamed corn.
  7. I would say that Electing Mamdani would help the GOP by giving them a good example of the failures of the far-left, ...but we already have California and Minnesota. The Democrats will elect this guy, then move out to a Red state when it fails, but will continue to vote-blue-no-matter-who. Like a virus.
  8. Paid $2.99/gal driving through Santa Fe. NM is an oil exporting state, but bluer than California, as it has been gerry-mandered to produce no Republican representation. Also a large portion of the population is on SNAP benefits with additional state supplements. I'm curious to see how this shutdown affects the voting. It can't benefit Democrats as they already hold all the seats.
  9. I'm excited to see if this year, "problematic" or "cultural appropriation" costumes make a comeback after being banned for a decade.
  10. What's frustrating is that so many people had to die for some people to finally figure this out. The BLM riots? Driving vehicles into church parades? The Trump Assassination attempt? This is what finally convinced you? really?
  11. NO one cares unless people get arrested. I expect they're scheduling the perp walks to occur right before elections.
  12. I still remember when posters here declared that SPLC, BLM, and NPR were non political.
  13. Its amazing how much the Liberal bubble is isolating the Democrats. If listen to social media, you'd assume that the shutdown was helping them win the next election. They truly so far left, that they can't see how the middle is reacting to this. It's still a constant "Trump, Trump, Trump" mantra...
  14. You have to understand that from where he is standing, Obama is a conservative. You have to understand that from where he is standing, Obama is a conservative.
  15. Roundy made me click on the link, I knew it was spin, but... But I also found out that an average of 150 deaths per 100k occur in jails/prisons across the US. ----So ICE actually has a 3X better rate than normal, at 40/100k. ICE saving lives!
  16. Right: Raising minimum wage increases inflation. Left: No it doesn't! Media: It will lower the poverty rate! Reality: Cost of living sky-rockets. Unemployment increases. Right: Tariffs will not raise inflation. Left: Yes it will! Media: The economy is doomed! Reality: Inflation & Economy unaffected. Gov revenue up.
  17. I didn't realize the Eagles can't sign him back unless he's on a roster a minimum of 4 games over two years.
  18. Coleman had a 70% contested catch rate in college. It was the reason he was drafted. Obviously the guy isn't going to outrun many in the NFL. If we're hoping that he develops into a route runner, McConkey or Pearsal would have been a better choice. Last year he was charted at 36% rate. After week 1? Yes, I'm happy he had a good game, but he's not doing what he was drafted to do, which is catch the ball when he (and everyone else) is covered. I'm just tired of watching balls bounce off this guy, especially in the redzone where Josh is guaranteed to give Coleman a shot at a 50/50 ball. He's young. He has time. What I'm excited to see him do more... 0m32s, 1m21s, 1m37s, 4m47s (TD), 6m49s, 7m16s (jumpball TD).
  19. Except the separation was because of zone or the DB giving a cushion. He does get credit for boxing out the DB on the slant for the game winning catch. Teams with big corners will shut him down if he doesn't improve his hand strength. Levi Wallace would eat his lunch.
  20. I don't like that Coleman got 0 catches from 50/50 balls where he had to fight with the DB. All of his catches where when he had separation. He has the body control, just not the hands. However, I'm hopeful, he can turn into Davante Adams, if he keeps improving. Right now, Gabe Davis has better possession skills.
  21. The only justification for sending your kids to public school is not academics, but for social interaction. Gen Z, and Gen Alpha are proving that they are graduating with awful social skills.
  22. Henry has a very low fumble rate. He's a 10yr vet at RB. He's going to get a brief conversation but no coach is going to worry about changing his running style at this point in his career.
