  1. Josh Allen was Nate Peterman's backup.
  2. They lost cap space for this year. This contract just means he plans to play for the Jets for at least 2 years and possibly 4 more years.
  3. The original plea would give Hunter no jail time and make him immune to all charges in the future? Sign me up! I would pay money (fine) to be able to commit any future crimes!
  4. Do this if you want air conditioning for a nap.
  5. I expect both of these movies to drop +60% in the second weekend box office, maybe more. This was the hype weekend, with word-o-mouth landing on both as best seen on streaming services. Most say the BARBIE trailers were misleading, while OPPENHEIMER was too long.
  6. Played in a company golf tournament and the cart lady ran out of liquor; Only sodas left after the front 9. We drank the course dry after 2 hours.
  7. Wanda-vision starts out awful, gets interesting, then ends great. Really have to power thru the first 2 episodes, unfortunately you can't skip it because there is a payoff later. Getting people to NOT turn it off early is difficult because it's so weird/confusing, but most like it once they understand what's happening. Falcon was boring. She-Hulk was trash from beginning to end, can't convince me otherwise. Guardians is a good ending to their Trilogy. It's a must-see if you're a fan of the previous two.
  8. Recommend only one movie to a friend/family member. Comparatively, one movie will make you feel like a moron, while the other will leave you feeling like a genius. I'm pretty sure I know which will make more money, by a wide margin.
  9. Any advice on new clubs? I'm still using a set from the 90's.
  10. Guardians 3 was the best of Marvel anything after Endgame. WandaVision is #2, but it took 3 episodes to get good, then they ruined it when Multiverse of Madness came out. Loki is #3, but it set off the "Multiverse" which audiences seem to be having problems accepting. The rest range from Okay (Moonknight) to horrible (she-hulk) and can be skipped altogether. Haven't watched Secret Invasion yet. The Marvels will probably lose money.
  11. What happens to a strike when there is no real impact to consumers? Are they willing to strike for a year (or two) waiting for the public to notice diminishing content? Remember, Covid also shut down all productions and no one really cared, and that is with everyone stuck at home.
  12. I used to play a lot, but now I suck. 70s then to 90s now. Can occasionally hit a 300yd+ drive still. Usually out of bounds. Embarrassing when I'm waiting for the group in front to get out of range, then hit a grass burner to the women's tees.
  13. The rest of world relied on Hollywood to make content in the past... Now Americans will rely on the rest of the world to make content. The success of shows like "Squid Game" should scare these strikers. There are viable studios all over the world now. How long will it take for the Billionaire studio producers to realize they don't need to listen to the Union? They can just take their money overseas. Netflix already does... Maybe that's why we were getting "Woke" movies. They wanted the public to hate Hollywood so the move overseas to cheaper productions would go smoother.
  14. They're going to stick Biden back in his basement. This time, He will get 150million votes. The last election was the trial run...
  15. AI will save entertainment. It will no longer take 200mil dollars to make a movie. The average fan will be able to make shows that the average fan wants to watch.
  16. The average student loan debt is $28k. (bachelors) and $40k overall. The average car loan is $26k (used) and $40k (new). Looks pretty close... So why are students loans considered a national crisis that will ruin a person's life through crushing debt that they can never hope to repay, ... ...but a car loan can be paid off in 4 to 6 years, with new loans being taken again and again every decade?
