  1. After watching the endzone play myself , I saw it a little differently. Reese was correct in his approach in that he faced the qb as soon as possible, came across the FRONT of his body and took a swat at the ball, unfortunately resulting in a near miss. Takeo was turned around and didn't get to the spot in time to make a realistic play on the ball. Wire, while facing the ball was BEHIND the receiver and in absolutely no position to make any sort of play on the ball and did nothing contact wise to make any sort of impact on the result. Reese continues to show he is fairly competent at the safety position while Coy (I love the guy but.....) so far has shown zero improvement over his rookie season other than a few moments during the Colts preseason game.
  2. So I know it's fun as fans to read into things and "decode" what we like to call coachspeak, but to me in this situation what Coach MM said about the rational of his decision was REALLY what he thought, and not some sort of spin. A 48 yard FG is long and risky for ANY and ALL Nfl kickers. Your defense is playing lights out to that point, and you have a chance to pin them on or inside the 20 with close to 2 min remaining. As I have said before, it's my opinion that most coaches would have made the same decision under the same circumstances. What I'm getting to though is that to me a lot of this Lindell bashing has stemmed from the idea that the above mentioned decision showed a lack of confidence by MM in Lindell when in all probability it had very little weight in the overall process. Lindell is indeed at a crossroads in his career right here and now and needs to somehow find consistency, but the decision being referenced by many as evidence of no confidence by the coaches may not be very solid evidence at all in a court of........I don't know.......Coaches.
  3. Hey now, not all the posts above are in total agreeance
  4. Moulds is a perma Bill. He is a huge part of the identity of the Bills. He took a lesser value contract to stay here than what he would have received on the open Market. He will , down the road, be willing to make further ammendments for the team, and other than the injuries, I strongly disagree with your comments about his supposed "drops", etc. He also has been very good with taking younger players under his wing. Clements , generally speaking right now, I would have to agree with you on. He's got so much talent though that it would make it a tough choice still. I'd trade him right now for the hold out corner Mckenzie in Green Bay. DB, I think he has shown alot so far as far as transitioning his game, release time, reads, etc.... I don't think he'll be gone until after the 2005 season.
  5. for Bar harbor you're looking at anywhere from 80-180 per night depending on preference, and @ 40-60$ for dinner for 2.
  6. Just went to Bar HArbor, Acadia , and Rockland. All Beautiful. Sorry though I can't help w/ Old Orchard Beach ...

  8. As he stated, Drunken is a long time friend of mine, and we've been bills fans together since we were like 9 years old. I think you'll find his input very fair and informed. Treat him well folks 'cause he is good people
  9. "Oh no!! he muttered as his fantasy team just took a huge blow to the face" :-(
  10. I love the effort in ALL your posts FFS and enjoy the reads but this single point is the most petty and absurd made today in critique of Bledsoe's play. Is it that difficult to accept that maybe, just maybe, the man has taken his refined role and his recent teachings from Wyche and Co. to heart and has begun to run with it?
  11. My biggest laugh of the day I must say. See, the therapy is working.... B) I think it worked for me too
  12. Glad you had a good time! There seems to be alot more of a realistic outlook in most of the season ticket holder sections. Maybe you just drew a bad card so to speak :-)
  13. Ahhh!!!! Hey there. Glad you joined! Hope you had a good time at the wedding! Yeah, you'll find tools like that all over the stadium. It's pretty commonplace these days. Sorry you had to go through that garbage...
  14. Irish, welcome to the world of the modern day spoiled fickle Bills fan who expect all of our players to be Pro bowlers and our coaches to be Bill Parcells. :-)
  15. I think part of your recovery could be looking at DB's play from yesterday's game and analyzing it as a football fan instead of a Drew Basher. I'm confident this would help you because there really isn't anything negative you could say about his play yesterday :-)
  16. The more observant refs you will see from time to time, will hold off on actually blowing that whistle , especially when the call is questionable, thus allowing for a review to occur. They just need to not be so quick with the whistle on those types of plays.
  17. Yep, or they could just simply say "ok, it IS reviewable" instead of "it was a judgement call". I'd prefer the latter because you really should be "down" when your knee touches...
  18. Saw it. Agree. I did the same thing, then Im going "why the hell am I yelling when I don't care who wins this game?" :-)
  19. Please do tell. What was said to Sullivan? Was he retaliating at all? What were the Wallers saying to Riter and his cohost?
  20. LOL, that's friggin hailarious!!! How true.
