I agree and I know that Pat loves it here in Buffalo. Hopefully he'll be willing to sign for a fair amount. The very good play of Mr. Edwards recently would not be possible without the constant leaning provided by Pat and Sam. I still consider PW to be our best defensive player. It's not really a statistically based thing only. It's also much about the attention paid to him by the opponent. BTW, Nice post Bill (I liked the one about Krumrie too)....

Bannan was actually used as the LG yesterday, not even as an H-back. It was the funniest thing I could imagine as well, but he did ok (he blocked well on the one TD run anyway). Shelton actually did REALLY well on the one drive where Willis had like 4 carries for 55 yards. He is still poor when left in for pass blocking though...

We are not better than Seattle but our defense and special teams certainly is.

I concur whole-heartedly! I can't argue much re: his inconsistent production but the whole passion and "fire in the Belly" references are Roll on the Floor funny! Hey, the guy might be failing in ways but to think that he's not giving every ounce of himself to try to rectify the problems and to try to win football games for this team is ridiculous.

I'm not sure but I would guess that Willis is going to see the majority of carries in the game. Isn't the naming of the starter more of a formality that we shouldn't be getting our panties up in a wad about?
