considering Suckivan was playing left tackle during the game, I thought the Oline played quite well. The only real consistent problems came off the left edge Saturday night. Of course if there are any major injuries we are billsfanone, but I think otherwise they will show a marked improvement from last season. Smith played well at LG and Teague has played well the past 2 games.

I suppose you could then blame ALL QB injuries on the offensive line that they play behind, including Michael Vick. Is there a point here??????

Fan or not, one would first have to understand the game of football, whether on the field or financially speaking, before they would be qualified to be objective. WTF is the need to go off some review by Dr. Friggin Z??? Did you not watch the 2002 season with your own eyes?. He played decent at guard, especially run blocking. You don't need some review to tell you that.

It's real simple. Sullivan is a guard in the NFL, not a tackle. He played very well in 2002 as a GUARD. The problem is, he doesn't want to play guard and is more "comfortable" at tackle. If he doesn't wake up and change his mind folks are right that he will be off the team. I think if he were only willing, he'd be starting at LG right now.

Kelly I thought Drew demonstrated a very good knack for stepping up, avoiding the rush and being accurate on short passes last night. In fact so much so that it really stood out and surprised me and made me feel good about what Wyche and Clements have acheived by working with Drew. I agree with your points on MW except for the one play you mentioned. He let his man get around him way too quickly and there was also another rusher coming from the blind side. On the 2 sacks overall Drew had less than 2 seconds to deliver and one of them he smartley "Ate the ball" to avoid disaster.

I think it's because TD gives his "scoops" to national sources and bypasses much of the local media. And I laugh every time I think about it. :-)

1- Lawrence smith did a decent job in there. He didn't get bulled over by any DT's and the inside running game was fairly productive. 2- Coy had the best game I can remember him playing in a LONG time. Was in on a couple pass breakups, made a few tackles and had a pick of Manning (forced by good pressure). 3- Aiken seemed to run very crisp routes and caught a nice hook pattern for a first down. I think he had a reception on an out pattern as well. 4- I heard someone else mention that Baker played well but I didn't notice him last night. I'll try to watch on a second run through of the game. 5- Greer seemed to be in good position most of the night although he dropped a sure interception. 6- Gildon did nothing to make his case from anything I could see unfortunately. 7- Kelsay/Denney allowed some runs to the outside and seemed to get eaten up a little by the RT and losing outside contain but did better on inside runs. I wouldn't say that either played poorly but nothing spectacular.

I think Williams should make 3rd RB as well, but it will come down to his special teams play vs. Simonton's special teams play.

The only negative I'll disagree with is #8. I thought there was ALOT of really good pressure on Manning last night, forcing some very errant throws for the league MVP. He had a supbar outing with 2 INTS and much of it was due to the Bill's pressure. Otherwise your points are pretty accurate to me Rudy.

I agree the Titan's game was awful with penalties. Here's hoping also that we try less flea-flickers than originally planned by the coaching staff this season. ;-)

I agree with just about everything you state there Mark. Good observations. I do feel that Fast Freddie will get another chance because he's got good return skills AND very good receiving skills (good routes, touchdown catch). The two fumbles were pretty bad but his potential should atleast land him on the PS if he is cut. I also thought that Zolman played above and beyond what anyone could have expected from him. He might make a decent #3 under the current circumstances.

I agree. He was quite decisive with all of his throws and his Plant-step-throw combinations looked quite smooth. Accuracy looked better than last year and you're right about the play-action fakes. What stopped the O from scoring was the curious Flea-flicker call and the Bledsoe / Mcgahee fumble play.
