  1. I sound like Barry White this morning
  2. Row 12, section 136 was awesome! Loudest I have heard in a long time... We definitely helped with those false starts at the end (turns out it didn't matter but....)
  3. Shhh... Don't tell VA
  4. Right because 80 plus yard bombs completed for touchdowns are never earned
  5. It took me a minute to figure out who "the Lizard" was...
  6. Glad you weren't my coach ps. Thanks for the FF victory
  7. Nope. I was praising the checkdowns and commenting on how they were actually allowing us to keep the drive alive. If you didn't notice there were 7 and 8 guys in coverage on most of those plays.
  8. Whitner had a horrible 1st half, but a stellar 2nd half. It was weird indeed. I was worried too but then the worry settled once he stopped giving up contain, covered some guys and made some nice hits later on.
  9. I am a huge AS supporter most days, but he really needs to work on his responsibilites in playing vs. the run from what he showed today.
  10. Plus he obviously didn't read the whole post.
  11. Yep. Still a nice win, even in hindsight.
  12. They're throwing less because they don't get the time to throw, not because the WR's aren't getting open. Go and listen to the Coach talk about this himself at the official site, multimedia section. Sure, it happens once in a while that none of the receivers get open, or JP misses seeing an open guy, but is certainly not the crux of the matter. When you run a 5 step drop passing play, and cannot get past 2 and 1/2 seconds before the qb gets contacted, it's the line. Jp's completion % hasn't really wavered whether throwing 13 passes or 30 passes. Also, blaming the offense's problems mostly on the line is not "mindless". It's reality. And it has been a problem here since the mid nineties. At times, they've been able to run block pretty well, but the pass protection has been consistently putrid throughout those years, with the only spell of success coming from a Qb who's whole game was based on improvising and running in circles.
  13. you forgot to add genomich to the list
  14. Wade fired himself when he "fell on the sword" for the worst coordinator choice in NFL history.
  15. Unintentional, but sure if you like.
  16. They've got a good kid in Robinson at corner, and Brown can hit at safety. Not great shakes, but they can play.
  17. This pretty much says it all. Straight from the horses mouth.
  18. I guess I'm saying that what Iv'e seen from Fowler is far more encouraging than what I saw from Teague, especially when facing some of the bigger DT's. You're right though, he hasn't shown much on short yardage plays as far as strength goes. He does look good out in space on pulls and gets to the second level pretty well at times.
  19. The scheme you speak of is the reason we stayed in the game
  20. It's tough when the O-line plays like today. Can somone really name more than one play from today's game where JP didn't make the right read, decision, or throw? I can't. I'll look again later, but I don't think the opinion will change.
  21. We shouldn't necessarily. But we also shouldn't rule him out after what 3 1/2 games? These guys (Julian Peterson) usually start to resemble their pre-injury selves in the season following their return instead of "magically" reaching fan expectations of a full return immediately. Did you really not think of that?
  22. Maybe because of this ominous, lingering, Ground Hog Day-esque theme of chewing up and spitting out dozens of Quarterbacks and Coaches with one common denominator in front of our faces the whole time?
  23. I agree, Nate had an exceptional game today, as well as last week. I would not just assume that we will not re-sign him next year considering the cap room we should have.
