  1. Talk about I can't look myself in the mirror knowing I took Alexander over LT
  2. Nice! btw... if my calculations are correct <geeky snivel> I have just drawn you in a first round FF playoff matchup
  3. Was that the Rams game?
  4. Lol, that WAS a surprise
  5. Most definitely. He's been pretty consistent in that area this year. I remember last season he was getting a lot of holding calls when trying to block. He must have worked hard on his technique...
  6. Old opinions die hard around here. While his numbers are fairly pedestrian, I've seen some real nice things at times this year from Price. He's been involved in blocking downfield more than he ever was the first time here. Plus he's made some very clutch catches, and shows good body control as mentioned. The numbers he got for his contract aren't really that significant IMO as compared to some of the reactions around here. It would be nice if he didn't dissapear at times, but he sure is a different player this time around. Could the position be improved? Yes. Bot he's certainly playing hard out there, and has contibuted at key moments. Wr's are not all Moulds type bruisers.
  7. Actually no. He is a complete receiver, right now. He has the hands, the quicks, the route running ability, the ability to make a play vs. double coverage, he can fight for the sticks, the breakaway speed, and the numbers to back his production in an offense that sometimes purposely has gone into a conservative shell. The only thing I think he needs work on right now is coming back to the ball after the play breaks down.
  8. You are comparing us to perrenial playoff teams while most are noticing the progress of a rebuilding/gelling unit who is starting to show that they are able to execute a gameplan and take advantage when they are given opportunities in the field position department.
  9. Theres the whole flaw with that line of thinking. It's really not about stats, especially one's such as your theory presents, but if you want to look at a statistic for an Offensive Coordinator and QB look at Yards per attempt. It doesn't matter if there are 15 or 50 passes thrown.
  10. This is the first Bills coaching staff in a long time that seems to have thrown away all the "we need an identity" crap and have adjusted unique, separate game plans for the teams they are up against. Key games where gameplan was a large part of the reason for success (or atleast being in a position to win) were: The Dolphin game The Vikings game The Indy game The Jacksonville game Yesterday (took away the short routes the Jets desperately rely on) I won't call him coach of the year, but I like what I see so far overall.
  11. Very True ...
  12. He's a smart guy and all ( a smartass too) but they really need to take him off of football related assignments.
  13. Sorry you were unable to see the last two games. Give the guy some recovery time, geez.
  14. Unfortunately there is no way for any of us to really tell how he is playing based on the way TV cameras are set up for the NFL broadcast. Only the people who go to games will have any opportunity to really check out what he is doing. Of the 2 games I've been to , I thought he played very well in one and mediocre in the other. He does show really good range back there but his recognition may need some time to come along.
  15. Geez... what's his hangup today?
  16. TKO came back and played the 2nd half. Still, very impressive job by the defense!
  17. Do not under-estimate the power of the Melvin . Whatever he may be, he's loads better than any center we've had since #67 was here.
  18. Mike and the Mad Dog on 660 am out of NYC should be entertaining tommorow as well.
  19. Best usage of dashes and smilies ever!
  20. I think this Peters guy is gonna be good
  21. Great points Bill. And a very entertaining read!
  22. I provided concrete, valid points about the two. I have never, nor will I ever judge a rb based on whether or not he has rushed for 5000 yards or won a popularity contest. BTW, I was one of Henry's biggest supporters until shown the light otherwise. I always conveniently ruled out the most important "stat" for a rb.... ball security
  23. Oh now Henry is better than WM again? This is really getting out of hand. WM hardly ever fumbles while Henry drops it once per game, can block (though he occasionally has some issues) 10 times better than Henry, and has far more power. The only thing Henry has on Willis is that he hits the hole (or the brock wall at times) quicker.
  24. You couldn't have possibly said this any better.
