  1. Ellison is always available if he needs a blow
  2. Interestingly, they actually play the D-line with a WIDER stance this year than they did last season. And the ends seem to take an "angled in" stance. The reasoning behind this is likely to take advantage of the quickness of out lighter, athletic D-linemen playing on the edges of OT's and allowing more room for stunts.
  3. I see more discipline on the team now (so far) than I have seen for many years. That makes a difference. Also improvements in acquiring athletic lienmen have helped. Jp is starting to "get it"
  4. I agreed with that at the time of the draft last season. And hey maybe there was a guy there we could have taken and developed for a couple seasons, like Crowell for example. Who knows? Many of these philosophies held by many of you guys that I respect on the board held very true back when the draft was vastly the only way to obtain talent, and Player contracts allowed them to remain on a team for years, even as developing backups, and free agents were mainly just guys off the street, and there were far fewer "specialized" positions (Like RP's role) that factored so much into the game. What guys like Randel EL and Hall did for the Steelers and Chiefs cannot be downplayed any longer. And Yes SDS , Dante was a steal as a 5th rounder for sure, and RP has not reached that level, but I don't see any one in the league who's closer to it.
  5. For a young guy, you're pretty set in your ways. If you can get Dante Hall (ie Roscoe) for a 2nd round pick, it's a pretty good value. FWIW I would have prefered a different position at the time too, but have since changed my thoughts on that.
  6. Lori, thanks much! There is also a Marv Levy radio show on 1180 AM out of rochester on thursday evenings. The start is either at 7:00 or 7:30 pm
  7. Yep. I even noticed when Miami came with a zero coverage blitz toward the end of the game and JP threw the hot route to Evans but Evans didn't make the read and kept running... Holcomb was right there when JP came to the sidelines assuring him the he had made the right read.
  8. Drunken!! Always great to beat the Fins aye?
  9. Don't forget some serious props for "the little teacup" RP. HE was fantastic on O and ST today.
  10. All the training you mentioned before happened before last season, not this one. And the kickoff's are still just as short. Anyway , I still thought you made a good post
  11. I'll second that. Geez!!
  12. I think you're actually a year late on this post. The guy was absolute money last season.
  13. Better yet, someone should call them and point out that Bills fans know he is lying/ making it up about the KH vs. Losman crap.
  14. Just for that play specifically, why "not necessarily" ? The DT would have been sitting in his lap, no?
  15. Seriously man, watch the replay of the 4th and one. If he goes "straight into the line" he loses 2-3 yards easy.
  16. The little halo over my smiley guy was a small admission of guilt. But missing a quick grab and release facemask is not the same still as missing a blatant hold on A.S. , or three for that matter. I'm just frustrated really, because a win was within our grasp.
  17. Like I said , I see no problem with that
  18. That pic is of the ball leaving his possession after his arm was hit, not of his arm somehow going forward. Plus the resulting pass was backwards, which is a fumble anyway. And I see nothing illegal from TKO. HD nice win ya bastard Experience and momentum won it for your team and they earned it. I think these Bills-Pats games would be even more fun though if the refs wouldn't just assume that your guys never hold our D-linemen (Atleast thrice on Schobel). Not saying we would have won. Just saying.
  19. That damn Jim Kelly!
  20. Whitner also showed up in run support. IT was obvious and immediately noticeable as soon as they yanked Coy boy. In fact on his first play he came up and got in on the tackle on a 2 or three yard stop.
  21. Spikes said mild hammy tweak. Said he'll be back next week. FWIW
  22. Wire was awful early and thankfully the coaches noted this as well and he played very little after the first quarter.
  23. Simpson did not embarass himself out there today and covered ground well. I like Vincent more than some, but I would consider leaving Simpson in after today.
