  1. Mild Hammy tweak.
  2. You are still clueless on all things not running back related when it comes to analyzing on-field performance.
  3. This is a joke. Losman played very well today in one of the toughest environments. Very sharp and accurate on his throws. Threw some away on purpose for good reason when the pocket caved. Did not turn the ball over. Made some key 3rd down completions.
  4. The Royal illegal block was so gentle, the opponent may have though he was coming on to him. It was not a factor in the play, and infact happened long after the first down was achieved, and should not have been called. Your other points I agree with. Pats had a few holds that weren't called (Are they ever?) along with a key encroachment that wasn't called.
  5. Ok Willis was down. Sh&t!
  6. That's a first down. They better challenge
  7. Theres not a poster here who could argue that that reverse call on third and 4 with the game on the line and involving 2 changes of hands was even remotely a good/ justifiable call. I won't throw MM under the Bus but that was just terrible.
  8. All you need to do is ask yourself: What current Bills player in their right mind would possibly want KH to start for the team while factoring in his performance throughout practice, camp and the pre-season? Somebody (TD, Moulds ) is dishing out some seriously out-dated information.
  9. I think I'm the only one who feels Vincent will do well in the cover two. He's slowing as a corner, yes, but still has decent speed and range as a FS. He also won't be forced to take on too many Man-up assignments, exposing his less than stellar one on one tackling ability.
  10. The problem with all this is if you put the ball on time and accurately against a cover 2 you will succeed in moving the ball, and spectacular WR's are not required.
  11. I always hate to do this with you but I disagree Thomas has shown better ability to pick up tough yards, be involved in the outlet passing game, and block. I really like Shaud too, but other than as a change of pace scat back, he hasn't shown as much in other areas to me. Plus as a returner his is simply awful.
  12. Do you have to drop little turds on every thread you post in? The smart-ass devil's advocate is certainly an important and necessary role in most threads but this is ridiculous...
  13. Classy Post Bill! Here's to all of us Bills fans
  14. The user name should read " AnyoneButJp's_Arm" . Seriously, why bother rooting for the Bills?
  15. That's just not even close in most cases (other than the extremists mentioned by DanGross). The media generally inserts a foot in their own mouth by making supposed "inside" statements like "there's a prominent member of the Bills offense who would have Holcomb as the starter" and tries to use it in respect to the current state of the team, when it's very clear that Holcomb is rapidly making his way to the 3rd string. They try to sound important or show that they have priviledged information when they truly know less about the team than your average local fan.
  16. Anderson played quite well in the last game. I think DJ was just talking about the lineup for this upcoming game against DET, but I'm not sure if the D&C made that clear.
  17. Or maybe he was refering to when Willis "walked with" Holcomb to one of his interviews
  18. Dumb mistakes like Kelly's multiple INT games early on when he threw late over the middle? Glad we dumped him early Sorry, just saying
  19. Who said the Bills would be worried about NE's average WR core? It's the guy putting the ball there in stride and on time that makes the thing go. And the seam routes are usually run in "seams" within zones, often in the center of the field (by TE's often, especially on a team like NE with 2 good TE's).
  20. Very well said. I play a little online in ip games too, but they are with people I know already and we have agreed to try and use realistic settings. Those games can be quite a blast.
  21. Brady has more fun and success abusing the Cover-2 defense than he does with most other defensive schemes. That's counting teams that actually have run the cover-2 base for a number of years, including TB . While their defense has slipped a bit over the years, I don't think our offense will have enough consistency in them to out-do what the Pats offense will do to our D. I see many slants and deep seam passes killing us all day long. We have a shot, but it seems to be a very slim one right now.
  22. Good Post. Atleast in the PC version, the defensive AI is an important factor in you running offensive plays against it. I don't look so much technically at the game as in "what program flaws can I exploit?" That is simply no fun to me. I try to set up the game difficulty and sliders so that if I play a "real" brand of football, and play mistake free and make my reads, I can be successful. I try to make it so that it's extremely difficult for the Bills to beat the Pats or Colts, while it's reasonable to expect a better game against the Jets, etc. I can't stress enough how much small tweaks of the AI sliders make the game much more realistic and enjoyable.
  23. 1- While injury concerns are valid for guys Parrish's size, breaking your wrist by landing on it wrong has nothing to do with the size of a player, but I know you enjoy the little teapot gig 2- My post was in response to whether or not Parrish is a sure thing to make the WR roster, and I believe tha he is. Plus I didn't even mention his punt return ability. I think he had the league leading average last season.
  24. I guess you haven't been following camp, or even the games too closely with respect to Parrish. He is likely going to see as much 3rd WR time as anyone else. He has been running precise routes and has been explosive in space out of the slot. Shows pretty good hands too. He's a lock. I'll say it too.
