  1. I provided concrete, valid points about the two. I have never, nor will I ever judge a rb based on whether or not he has rushed for 5000 yards or won a popularity contest. BTW, I was one of Henry's biggest supporters until shown the light otherwise. I always conveniently ruled out the most important "stat" for a rb.... ball security
  2. Oh now Henry is better than WM again? This is really getting out of hand. WM hardly ever fumbles while Henry drops it once per game, can block (though he occasionally has some issues) 10 times better than Henry, and has far more power. The only thing Henry has on Willis is that he hits the hole (or the brock wall at times) quicker.
  3. You couldn't have possibly said this any better.
  4. I still have a piece of the field goal netting that I nabbed after the posts came down
  5. Game Review Watch these clips of the game and just try to stand by your points about explosion or late getting to the hole.
  6. Well said. You're making some great posts tonight.
  7. Do you REALLY believe that? Williams is the most dominating Nose tackle in football.
  8. If you listen to the experts (the guys who run it/coach it effectively) talk about the cover 2, they pretty much all say it takes 2-3 years to get everybody playing correctly in the system. It really has a lot to do with discipline, much like the west coast offense. Also , the Cover 2 really has nothing to do with the type of front 4 you utilize. Ideally, we need to get atleast one guy (DT) with both size AND quickness to make this thing work better.
  9. As others have said, TKO played his best game of the season yesterday and was a positive factor on many plays. He was John Muphy's player of the game in fact. Not sure if you know what you're seeing out there with regards to LB play.
  10. AT would not have scored those 2 touchdowns last week. And 2 carries for 11 yards signifies nothing really. We've got to live with Willis being a patient runner if we want the rewards of some of the plays he can make that guys like AT cannot.
  11. Actually, at least from a singers perspective, you can. Your diaphram can be more extended and you project better standing up.
  12. google search
  13. 1- If we lost Nate, how would drafting a CB fairly early on day 1 not be a need pick or a good idea, regardless of Marv's history? 2- Hasn't the "our GM and Owner are old" bit run it's course yet? I think Ralph proved already that he was wise to question the details of the new bargaining agreement as it has been shown since that many of the other owners simply "Signed up" without really understanding the details.
  14. Maybe one is a little more of an honest/open interview too...
  15. I think Buffalo in general wants the guy we'd love to have a beer with so I think we got the right guy
  16. It's the 1st 83 yard Evans TD for me.... JP had to regain his footwork after a shuffle to the left, then step up into an oncoming rusher (who hit him hard) and completed the release of a perfect pass that travelled atleast 55 yards in the air directly into the bread basket of Evans who did not have to break stride. I can certainly see an arguement for any of the throws though.
  17. I'm all for standing and making as much noise as possible during the right moments. There was plenty of that going on in 136. People generally stood on third downs or important situations while the Bills were on D. There weren't really any problem fans, just one kid who felt the need to direct and explain to us all just what affect our standing and yelling would have on the opposing offense I will say that no fan should reasonably expect the civility and still of spectating a tennis match while at an NFL football game. Surprisingly, there are a fair number of those people out there and that is just wrong
  18. This is possibly one of the most dissapointing, short-sighted, hotpocket threads that I could ever imagine a Bills fan posting. Football is a tough business at times for sure but you should always give a guy that has earned that much respect through his play, dedication and leadership a chance to recover before you dump him to the curb. Of the cases who do fully recover from this type of injury, none of them were all the way back in the first season. His dollar figure is not out of line either. I just can't believe that anyone would take this fantasy football manager approach and try to apply it to the real game.
  19. Didn't you hear? Willis990 says that JP is just not a good QB. The magazine scouts told him so...
  20. Dude don't do it man
  21. Doesn't Merriman usually line up over the strong side?
  22. what is the Bill's recent record with you in attendance again?
  23. Things can always change, and Free Agency is a factor as well but I'd like to see the draft focus on- OL - even if it's for depth it's been a need for a long time on this team. DT - We need atleast one guy who is both strong and quick, not just one or the other. They are hard to find but do exist (stroud for example). LB- we need some depth here, depending on FA for Fletcher, and if Spikes can make a full or near full recovery. TE- this is still an area that needs help. FB- Shelton has improved from earlier this season but he isn't getting any younger.
  24. Please continue this then
