  1. Those are two of the 3 I was thinking of (I haven't seen Al Wilson enough to judge). You can see my point though at least, no?
  2. That has absolutely nothing to do with the question I posed that you quoted.
  3. Not that I'm advocating JP for the pro bowl (I don't think he'd be worthy yet either), but he had a higher TD percentage and higher rating than both of those two in an offense that was less conservative (or "west coast") than both the Jets and Ravens.
  4. Lil help needed here.... name me more than 3 MLB's in the NFL who actually do, ahem, "shed blocks well".... I'm talking about Guards coming free and getting out to the MLB. Seriously, are there even 3?
  5. That's a good question. I'm not sure exactly. I know my company I work for does a lot of strategic marketing for specific target areas and feels that certain other areas aren't worth their efforts. Maybe just "contracting" out these areas is easier for them.
  6. It's pretty standard actually. For example, where I live I cannot get frontiernet DSL service, but I can get Verizon DSL if I wanted (although I have time warner cable). They have specific coverage areas in various markets.
  7. Range, tackling ability, and reading the play were all positives for him. He did get moved a couple times at the point of attack and the one pancake, but there are really only 2 or 3 MLB's in the big leagues who can shed a pro OG to me. I liked what I saw from the Okoye kid too. These guys all have something they need to work on at this point.
  8. Looks like Patrick Willis brought his stock up to me... "Patrick Willis of Ole Miss lead all defenders with 11 tackles and was named the South's defensive player of the game."
  9. Please elaborate on this (Yes I saw them both)... Was he faster than Reed? Yes Was he more acrobatic than Reed? Yes Did he run better routes? No Did he have better hands? No Was he tougher? No Did he block better? God No Seems to me it's really not close.
  10. Logic that was already brought up in this very thread. It's just that she puts the whole package together nicely.
  11. I posted something like this last night as well.... Reed was the class of the league other than Rice at WR during much of his career (atleast his prime). He was the reason they started measuring RAC (run after catch). He went to what 7 Pro Bowls? Playoff career stats: 85 catches 1230 yds 9 TDs
  12. Yeah one game should definitely decide his fate The most prolific receiver in the league not named Rice during his time. Playoff stats: 85 catches, 1230 yards, 9 Td's
  13. That game will always come down to 2 things for me: Thurman's ability to blow the game wide open and our (coaching staff's) unwillingness to let him to do so. 15 carries, what a joke. This game was not about the defense or the kicker.
  14. It's funny how the last time the Chargers had an above average WR they actually had 4
  15. Wow! It's strange, there are the stats for all to see but I still feel like he is one of the best at that medium range throw, especially hitting guys in stride.
  16. AKC, love the analogy of the System's utilization of the QB position to the point guard or point/shooting guard in basketball. That really explains it to the tee. I don't as much like the QB you chose to use for the west coast representative as I don't see the Pats as a West coast offense while they do utilize some of it's concepts. Also Brady has mastered the medium range game in the 10-20 yard region IMO, though I still don't think he's close to Montana unlike the thoughts of some.
  17. I see, sorry
  18. lol, ok the Original Quote
  19. go back and read the ORIGINAL ARTICLE and take off your negative fan filter and re-read it. You will find nearly the same statement made in the 1st place.
  20. Exactly , the statement barely varied from what he said in the original, now infamous article (which people chose to ignore 2/3 of).
  21. 5'10 180 I think we just found our run stuffing DT!
  22. Because that is not accurate at all. That's why. Although his weight certainly has something to do with it. The problem is that he is unable to fend off many of the blockers who get out to the LB level and gets pushed out of position. This problem is magnified for a MLB when his DT's are not occupying blockers whether by scheme or by physical limitatiions. Fletch does NOT get pushed back often at all when contacting the runner. He is a very solid tackler. Squares up well and usually drops guys in their tracks. If you're gonna rip on Pyrite's long post, you might want to be more accurate with your conclusions.
  23. there is no onebillsdrive.com
  24. No. But no real conclusions can be made about rookies who only play for 5 games either.
  25. You can't "whiff" on a guy who's played a handful of games in his rookie season. As I find myself saying more and more often here, this is not fantasy football. Players actually develop over a span of time that is longer than it takes to heat up a hot pocket.
