  1. In Green Bay they use “sunlights” at night on the field during mostly sunless winter days.
  2. They should copy everything the Packers did when they resurfaced their field. From the drainage and heating systems to the turf itself.
  3. Brown was clearly running along the nine yard line which was two yards past the LOS. There’s no screen pass exception in the NFL. It’s pretty cut and dried. Here’s the NFL rule:
  4. Watch the play again closely and you’ll see that upon the snap and while Allen was executing the play action fake, Brown ran unimpeded along the nine yard line to the left side of the field, two yards past the LOS.
  5. Agreed. Brown got away with one there as he was two yards past the LOS before Allen threw the ball. Brown did a good job of hustling back though.
  6. Sure, better awareness by Chubb would have been great, but he was adhering to a life long body of instinct as a running back; every fiber in his core says to get the ball over the goal line and score. Coaches simply have to take command in that situation to prevent that from happening. Absolutely inexcusable indeed. Right on the heels of the initial inexcusable gaffe of not taking a knee to end the game. Browns deserved what happened to them.
  7. There is simply no excuse for that and I put the blame on the coaches who should have reminded everyone of the game situation and demanded three kneel downs.
  8. Huh? I sarcastically responded to a post written in paragraph form that was as far away from 5-7-5 as can be, so I’m not sure what you’re referring to.
  9. I’m not sure, but I think this is too many syllables for a haiku.
  10. Say no to haiku And let limericks shine thru Poetic freedom Phin fans in Florida keep boasting About buffalo meat they’ll be roasting But the quarterback named Tua Will again look like dog doo-a As Allen and company will keep coasting
  11. I understand all of that. But the potential remains for a misdemeanor charge to be brought under CA law. However unlikely that might be.
  12. I understand all that. But the potential for Araiza to face a misdemeanor charge is still there under CA law.
  13. Based on CA statutory rape law, Araiza can face a misdemeanor statutory rape charge. Even if he had reason to believe she was 18 or older, even if she told him she was 18, even if she had sex with him consensually.
  14. The + or - is dependent on the team you’re getting on. If you bet the Bills, subtract 10 from their score. If you bet the Titans, add 10 to their score.
  15. DNA was required to match the specific DNA profiles of the alleged assailants. According to the linked article, that’s now been completed by the SDPD. Not sure of other alleged assailants, but according to the article, Araiza voluntarily provided a DNA sample to police on 9/6. The DNA profiles obtained may be inculpatory or exculpatory evidence for Araiza as well as any other of the accused. If that’s not a significant development in the case, I don’t what is. As for the type of testing, what form of DNA testing is usually performed on rape kits? I honestly don’t know, but would be interested in whatever info you could offer.
  16. @muppyposted a linked news article above stating the DNA results are now in and that the SDPD has provided a report stating those tests reveal that multiple men had sex with the victim.
  17. Another caveat I’ll throw out there is even if you have a roster with 22 legit NFL starters already in place, if you have a chance to grab a blue chip future star you do it, regardless of position, regardless of need or not. Playmaker is always a position of need anyway.
  18. Reminds me of the story Jordan Palmer tells about when they were vying for the backup job in Cincy. Palmer said Fitz was the toughest guy ever to compete against because Fitz was just such a great guy that you just didn’t want to. Never heard that kind of respect put that way before. Makes perfect sense.
  19. That’s weird because that’s not my post you responded to, it’s @H2o’s. Not sure how my moniker was inserted.
