  1. If the ball was tipped, the ref would have announced that there was no interfence for that reason, as we’ve seen countless times over the years. Instead he announced there was no interference because the receiver was within one yard of the line of scrimmage.
  2. Absolutely took us one step closer. We are on the cusp, knocking on the door.
  3. I would add that we won’t see Peterman again if Anderson is healthy.
  4. Only because Anderson was out. Should he have gone with Barkley? Logan Thomas? Slim pickins to say the least. And yes, it’s a situation of their own making, but that’s a different argument at this juncture.
  5. In that case it’s absurd and naive for them to think a head coach is going to take the bait with that kind of question. That’s really not the point though, is it? The point is that fans are outraged that he said he believes Peterman is an NFL QB in response to a loaded question, at his post game presser. As naive and absurd as the media can be, fans are often even worse.
  6. I was laughing, too. Crap load of comedic material to enjoy. Here’s a thought: if the Bills don’t want to be laughed at, perhaps they should do something about it on the field of play.
  7. Not good enough to be a team leader. Not even close. He plays small.
  8. McD was asked directly, at his post game press conference, if Peterman was an NFL QB. Should McD have chosen that time and place to say Peterman was NOT an NFL QB? Really? But then why stop there? The reporters should also ask if Benjamin is an NFL receiver or is Bodine an NFL center, and so on. It’s absurd and naive for the media to think that a head coach is gonna throw players directly under the bus in that fashion. Let’s see if Peterman is where Anderson is 10 years from now and then maybe my opinion will change. But opinions being correct or not? Around here? Yeah, ok.
  9. How many total attempts?
  10. Anderson sucks. Peterman sucks more. The end.
  11. The Bears have one of the best fronts in the league, even without Mack. Yeah, our OL got its ass handed to it today and we need upgrades but I have to give the Bears credit, too.
  12. I didn’t say Anderson didn’t suck. I said he just doesn’t suck as much as Peterman. Hope that clears it up for ya.
  13. Nah, it’s Peterman, hands down. Not so much based on today’s performance, but the difference in experience level has been quite noticeable in the short time Anderson has played here.
  14. And that’s a direct indictment on the coaches, imo.
  15. I can’t put much, if any, of this embarrassment on Peterman to this point. What a relief.
  16. Peterman can’t get any help. Too bad that INT goes on his stat line.
  17. Pump fake on the out and up (the CB is already counting his pick 6), Peterman hits Jones in stride and scores to complete a 75 yard play.
  18. I’m not trying to stifle any conversation, just raising a different question. I don’t think either question is limited to the Bills and their “recent” history, either. But if you need qualifiers, feel free.
  19. This is what happened to Jason Pominvile, too. He couldn’t replicate the baseline cognitive results established before the season and it took him weeks to pass the concussion protocol even though he had been symptom free during that time frame. He was having a high performance day when originally tested.
  20. I’m more interested in coaches who got off to such inauspicious starts that they had their fan bases up in arms and clamoring for them to be fired but were retained and then went on to succeed.
  21. It's funny you responded to my post because I deleted it as soon as I saw someone else had already made the joke over on TSW. Regarding Peterman, I certainly don't have any sense of impending doom, necessarily, but I don't hold out hope that he will play well, either. I'd like nothing more than to see the kid exorcise some demons though. I'll be rooting for him, regardless. And Scandella still blows chunks. He's a third pair D man at best. But Risto is no better than a second pair, either. Our D corp has a long way to go, imo. Other than Dahlin, I don't see a legit first pair NHL player at the position at present.
  22. I understand the urge, but you need him closer to the ball if you can help it.
