  1. Looking forward to the Bulls acting as a salve after the Monday night debacle I expect to see.
  2. I wonder if teams would have pause trading for an RB currently in the concussion protocol.
  3. The right circumstances simply don't exist. Kelly is done. He's had the same self-serving, lawyer-written, and insincere "mea culpas" at EVERY level he's played at. And unless uncle Jim is a psychiatrist that can prescribe meds and provide the needed psychological therapy, there is not much he can do. Hope the kid gets the help he needs and I was glad to see Elway say the Broncos would help in that regard. But he's done in the NFL.
  4. Relieved to see that the tracks in both poll questions pretty much mirror each other.
  5. Kelly is toxic and he is done in this league.
  6. The Week 8 Patriots Game thread. 26CB posted the same referee list in that thread today.
  7. I ordered one and this is what they sent me:
  8. The mistake people are making in misconstruing the terms "culture" and "process" is that they are not mutually exclusive of talent. All coaches want to establish their own cultures with their own processes with the most talented players available. Additionally, and I've said it a million times, all the talent in the world means nothing without the football character necessary to develop it.
  9. Posted this in the other thread and thought I'd post it here as well: So, let’s say Dale Shaw’s pharmaceutical sales aren’t going well or maybe Steratore’s supply company is operating in the red. What might it be worth to them to throw a flag here or look the other way there during the game? Not casting aspersions, just throwing that out there.
  10. Those tend to linger without complete rest, too. Love his heart as he's tried to manage it and play.
  11. None of which can be determined by looking at snap counts, which appears to be the sole basis for that determination in the article.
  12. Love his game. Did they ever disclose what he’s dealing with injury wise? Hammy or something?

  14. Get into a deep breathing pattern and think of good past experiences. Oh, and sedatives. Lots and lots of sedatives. Have syringe of Thorazine on hand just in case.
  15. Belichick, Parcells, and Lombardi had total control over the operation (after lengthy careers as head coaches), but they are not the kind of CZAR being bandied about in this thread, which is a guy to come in and be an extra layer between coach, GM, and ownership; a football guru in charge of rendering judgment on all decisions made by the coach and GM before action is taken. A CZAR is not required, just a competent GM, personnel department, and coaching staff. How about EXpired?
  16. Sounds like our offense is just the remedy needed for the Pats*** defense. Uncanny how often teams get well against us.
  17. I totally believe in the “on any given Sunday” concept. Unfortunately, we play the Pat*** on a Monday.
  18. Luck played extremely well. Just a great game all around. Gotta tip my hat to the opponent at times.
  19. Nothing happens unless it’s observed? Interesting.
  20. Miami gave Army all they could handle on Saturday and we all know what Army did to the Bulls. Gonna be another tough one.
  21. This is a tough one, but if I had to propose a trade for DeVante Parker, I’d have to suggest plumbing, with carpentry a close second.
