Oliver is gonna have Ryan Kalil regretting his decision to un-retire.
-
That would be nice. But I give the kid a ton of credit for the way he bounced back in that game. Especially on the road on a Monday night before a national audience. That said something about Darnold, imo. He’s a fighter. An essential trait in a QB.

Perhaps my favorite as well. -

The 1980 opener was an epic event. Goal posts torn down and a section passed up through the stands to Mr. Wilson’s suite. And he loved EVERY minute of the wild celebration. -
I twisted an ankle just watching that. CB is a seriously gifted athlete. I’m still amazed at his BBall dunking feats.

Antonio Brown Tells Raiders without his helmet no football

A talented loser is still a loser. AB is the definition of loser. -
I’d definitely test Johnson’s tender hamstring early.

I can understand that, but I get the impression the coaches prefer Feliciano’s mean streak on the field as well. He’s flat out nasty and I think you need that vs. the Jest. I wonder about Nsekhe’s knee, too.

Describe Josh Allen in One Word... his teammates respond

Swaggy. -
With Q Williams and L Williams on the Jest DL, I love the nastiness of Feliciano and Ford lined up across from them. Gonna be a street brawl on our right side.

I get that it’s a highlight video with no warts, but regardless, Allen’s rare arm talent jumps off the screen. Simply put, he can throw a football in ways that very few before him were able to. I hope he puts it all together because we will be in for a rare treat if he does.

If you want to see what to expect from their offense, roll video of Gase’s Miami offense. Likewise, roll video of Williams’s defenses from whenever. There is no shortage of material and I’m sure that McD, Daboll, and Frazier won’t be surprised by anything they do situation wise. While they are familiar with our defensive personnel, they lack that familiarity with our offensive personnel and Daboll’s preferred schemes with it. We know their offensive personnel very well and Gase, with a worse offensive line than what he had in Miami, isn’t gonna have Bell doing anything different than what he had Ajai or any other RB run in Miami. Don’t get me wrong, I like Gase’s schemes, but he isn’t gonna sneak up on anybody.

Another classy move by the Colts.

Perhaps he was on his way, made a wrong turn, and now he’s misdirected anger?

That’s a legit worry, especially with the Morse concussion concerns. But this retooled OL is full of guys who don’t take any crap, too. I look for Beasley and the TEs to have big days since Manboobs will have to cheat safety help to his CBs outside and the Jest LBs are nothing to write home about in pass coverage. And that includes Mosley.
-
I’ll be surprised if Bell does much on Sunday. I don’t see how a running back can go 19 months without playing in the NFL and being very effective his first time out. I don’t care how many practice reps he gets, it’s just not the same speed and intensity. Im still more concerned with Bell than I am Gregg “manboobs” Williams, though. All due respect to Jamal Adams, he’s got a crap back seven given his corners and LBs. But I suspect he’s aware of that, too, which is why I think he will be more conservative than everyone is thinking.

Great point. And now that you mentioned it, I’m not sure he’s gonna have an expanded role in KC, either. But I’m rooting for him.
