Just so I’m clear, did you read any part of my comment as a criticism of Allen? Because nothing can be further about how I feel about Josh’s maturation and command of this offense. My only point was that he has a group of receivers who are adept at recognizing coverages both pre and post snap.
I wouldn’t say cruising. More like sputtering. But style points never count, anyway. Like they saying goes, they don’t ask how, only how many. And right now, that’s a nice 8.
I find very little to like about our defense. We simply can’t go far with this group. Our only hope is getting leads, making teams one dimensional, and hoping for the best. And Klein just needs to go away.
I agree whole heartedly about Tasker. But Bennett changed the course of far more games in his career.
Biscuit immediately changed the balance of power in the AFCE. He was a force. Period.
It’s too bad he refused a position change to ML. IMO, he would have been one of the best to ever play that position.
Jay Feely was a kicker, which makes him ineligible to render ANY insightful analysis of any other aspect of the game. He should be confined to commentary on kickoffs and placekicks on FG and extra point attempts only, which amounts to nothing more than “laces out, Dan.”
Aikman is like many of these color analysts who don’t do their homework and just mail it in every week. He is simply not well acquainted with Allen’s body of work. Especially this season.
