  1. And in any other year, the Colts wouldn’t even have qualified for the playoffs.
  2. I’m intrigued by the concept of “no ceiling.” We’ve always heard about “the sky is the limit”, but no ceiling connotes something else entirely, imo. What a great way to define greatness and what it takes to get there.
  3. Great recognition by Josh to read that and get McKenzie over to help in pass pro. Brown made that look so easy as well.
  4. His coach was right; Allen has the heart of a lion. It’s what makes him who he is. And it’s highly infectious.
  5. Slightly more mature defense for Rivers to solve this time around. I respect the hell out of Rivers, but I don’t fear him. At all.
  6. Pirates were an easy team to root for back in the day with Willie Stargell, Manny Sanguillen, and the whole "We Are Family" vibe going on.
  7. I have all the respect in the world for the Reich, Rivers, and the Colts running game. But I just don't see them or anyone else throwing a D look at Allen and Co. that they haven't shredded recently. Man schemes, zone schemes, and any combination have been handled with relative ease over the last month and half against some of the better defenses in the league.
  8. Knicks and Pirates? Being a Bills fan has been a day at the beach in comparison.
  9. So, while you're going around the house all meh is she going around the house in her Peyton Manning jersey, sticking Phat Heads of Edgerrin James and Marvin Harrison on the walls, and talking smack?
  10. I'd bet any amount that nobody finishes 9-7 ever again.
  11. Yep. Seen them all many times both before and after we drafted Allen. Him leaving Wyoming was probably the biggest reason for Josh’s decline from 2016 to 2017.
  12. Tanner Gentry. Great name. Sounds like a character out of a Zane Grey novel. Time to saddle up, Tanner Gentry!
  13. This offense belongs to Josh Allen at this point and I can’t see him sharing it with anyone that didn’t have a hand in its development. Daboll leaves, Dorsey becomes OC. That simple.
  14. Yeah, the Chicago market is a huge draw and I’m sure you’re right after thinking about it. Can you spare a square?
  15. That and the only other CBS game is Chicago at New Orleans on Sunday. Buffalo vs Indy is much more enticing, imo, so I’d think we’d get Nantz and Romo, the #1 broadcast team at CBS. Nothing throwaway about that.
  16. Yeah, and he left Josh hangin’ on a high five request, too.
  17. The 18th anniversary of the comeback game was in 2011. Not sure what you’re referring to with 21-18. But I’d be interested to know.
  18. That would be 2011, but who’s counting.
  19. Those preferred plays kept us in manageable down situations which forced Miami to play honest and they got away from their various pressure packages. Allen has simply been killing defenses in manageable down situations. I don’t know if he can be stopped consistently at this juncture.
  20. There is nothing about the Hail Murray that qualifies as a top pass this year. A top reception? Definitely. But there is nothing special about a QB heaving a ball to the endzone and hoping for the best.
  21. I appreciate this fully. Daboll has done a great job in that regard. But I suspect it will be a seamless transition regardless. How many of Brady’s former OC’s became HCs while he was in NE***, three? It’s the same situation with Allen. It’s his offense now.
  22. Wish Daboll well. But make no mistake, this is Josh Allen’s offense now and it will be a seamless transition to Ken Dorsey as the new OC.
