  1. We already have Daboll’s replacement on the staff.
  2. Be that as it may, it’s the main reason for the narrative being built around the Ravens all week.
  3. Like I said... This week the Ravens will also face the number two offense in the league. But we pose a completely different kind of challenge for their defense.
  4. It’s because LJ finally got the playoff monkey off his back and their defense completely stopped the second most potent offense (in terms of yards) in the league.
  5. Not quite the same D for the Ravens with Yannick Ngakoue added to their lineup since. He can be a force if he’s found his game and needs to be accounted for.
  6. His arm appears more than adequate and I think he’s going to make some team very happy for a long time. His decision making is off the charts. I know he was surrounded by all world talent, but he was the one directing it. I’d like to ask him how much freedom he had to check in and out of plays. And I’m looking forward to hearing how he does on the white board during the run up to the draft.
  7. An apt comparison. Rodgers didn’t get his first start until the beginning of his 4th season. Josh already has 44 and counting in his 3rd. I like the trajectory.
  8. If we do nothing more than improve the PK, our goaltending will improve as well. Ullmark’s numbers 5v5 are indicative of solid net minding.
  9. I’m not sure the Ravens can execute the same blueprint. But I’m sure whatever plan they use will be a helluva challenge to defend.
  10. 215 yards? In the first half? DaVonta Smith is gonna go to Miami at 3 overall and be a pain in our ass for the next 10 years. What a player.
  11. So that was the grinding sound of rusted gears I heard earlier.
  12. Jeez, if this keep up, Beasley’s gonna be like the torso knight in ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail.’
  13. I’m as dyed in the wool of a Bills fan as there is, but I can also fully appreciate what Jackson and other players do on the field as well. No dilemma at all from where I sit.
  14. I don’t know if “stole” is the right word since we scored 27 points in less than 26 minutes. Josh and Co. took full advantage of the limited opportunities they had. And that’s on the Colts.
  15. There’s always been a difference between being a passer and being a quarterback. Some appreciate that nuance more than others. Luckily, Josh is good at both.
  16. Special education, indeed!
  17. “Just give it to ‘em!”
  18. Awesome! This means it will be televised locally! YES!!
  19. All the Allen/Jackson hype aside, this game boils down to how our O line handles their D line and pressure. I suspect Martindale will play man and bring the house like he did last year until Josh shows he can handle it, which he didn’t last year. Martindale is in for a surprise this year, though, because this isn’t the Josh Allen of last year and this isn’t the receiving group of last year, either.
  20. Dominant edge pass rusher. If QB is the most important position, then the ability to consistently pressure the opponent’s most important position is the second most critical position.
  21. Hmm. Old Mo can be fickle if he starts to root against you. Steelers score here and it’s on.
  22. Absolutely, as I’ve been giving Rivers major props for his outstanding game. He’s a great QB.
  23. Good point as well.
